While Europe is much more temperate, it's not like warfare suddenly stopped for those wearing full plate in the midst of summer or when fighting would go south to more hot environments.. Plus lmao, if we can wear bikinis to battle, armor in the sun shouldn't be questioned

If I am not mistaken, in the real life Japanese summer festival, kids had a habit of wearing super hero masks including Sentai and Kamen Rider. Maybe that's where they coming from.

I agree with Zigabar and Lambdafish that quite a few seasonal events have been fun :)
Even Little Ladies' Day was really fun this year, with all the idols and the many different conversation options, how you had to advertise for them with NPCs, seeing serverwide progress on their stage, etc.^^
Easter and Valentione's Day were explained already :D
(especially loved this year's Easter with all the minigames!)
But then we also get bland, uninspired events like Heavensturn (every year objectively the worst), quite often Starlight and Moonfire Faire, and now the winner of all "we just needed a way for players to obtain the rewards without actually adding anything"-events: Yo-kai Watch. Which is LITERALLY original Atmas with a higher droprate.

Ok this actually makes sense...and is really cool!! I can't believe I forgot about that..and I have been to a Japanese summer festival too lmao..

Still though..I would have enjoyed other culture summer events as well, seeing as every culture event we've had is related to Japan. Don't get me wrong..Japan is awesome and I love going there, but there are other cultures as well I feel that deserve some attention :) Like Tahiti..omg haha <3

Only good thing about that event to me so far. I was hoping for a new Yukata or similar since I wasn't playing back at the previous Moonfire events so I hope it works for it. Though I have the feeling SE will not do that since they want money and the MogStation is there for it. |:
