They actually already have these emotes in game already exclusive to NPCs. :(

I just want a /sithere or something that lets my character sit right where I am instead of attaching itself to a chair 10 yards away. Surely that cant be that difficult to make.

I want a persistent /squats emote so I can work out my legs while waiting on others. It's already in the game for NPCs. (This is the same type of squats used in FFVII & Crisis Core)

Exercise based emotes, npcs have them I've no idea why we don't.

I want the ability to set a specific 'expression' emote as our character's default expression. So, by default, the 'straight face' would be the core option but if somebody wished to make their character have a permanent cocky grin or sad look then they could.

Heh...permanent "Ouch" or "Scared".

probably best to only have a few of the expressions eligible.

Id like the Huzzah emote to get redesigned. It's horrendously short, and it looks tacky. I feel like I wasted my money.

A /laydown, /sleep, or /rest emote in the field sounds brilliant. Just do something about the elezan female one on beds. The way she props her head up looks so uncomfortable!

How about some response emotes from NPCs?

I would love for my Chocobo to respond to me petting it...

Or see Ravana/Ramuh/Shiva reply to the Battle Stance emote.

Would like to have the emote Chocobo dance ! :D

Really looking forward to the summer festival event :) I remember the one that was in 2011 and 2012 which was pretty nice :D Wish we could dye those old 1.0 bikinis too :( Been waiting 5 years now, but at least we can dye the racial starting gear so its a good start ;)

Woah....idk if you guys know but(most of the?) things the devs post here are taken directly from the japanese forums. Like a Japanese dev said that exact thing in Japanese on a Japanese emote thread & here it is again in perfect non Google Translated English, same with the PotD thread word for word BUT IN ENGLISH.

Can we please just get /sigh back? It's my favorite XI emote and it's not even hard to animate really.

I'd like an emote that's equivalent to the arcanist idle pose, where they hold up and read from their book, but that's usable while sitting.

There have been so many great suggestions in this thread already!
I definitely like the idea of having /sigh /highfive /falldown.
What about an emote for making silly faces?

This especially, gets old seeing the same animation on everyone, especially during PvP. New death/incapacitated animations would make the 72man maps seem like a more immersive battlefield. Also echoing the /facepalm one as well.

Id like a high 5 emote or a play dead emote where you can lay anywhere on the ground

-Not sure if it's been mentioned already but I would love the 3.0 "Job Quest Complete!" emote (the ones you see at the end Lvl 52, 54, 56, 58, and 60 job quests) complete with flashing job symbol (Although, to be fair, make sure the flashing symbol is able to be hidden. Otherwise it'd be like Darkside all over again.)

-The 2.0 "Job Quest Complete!" emote for the 30-50 job quests (Was it the same or different in 1.0?)

-The flying broom's spell casting action would be awesome to have on and off the broom.

-An "Adjust glasses" emote (No frills. Just our characters just raising a couple of fingers to push up their glasses)

-A "Briardien adjust glasses" emote (Complete with the 'snooty hand gesture and glasses shimmer')

-Also echoing a /facepalm and the /dropdead or /incapacitated emote.

I don't even play bard and I think they NEED this.

Give all jobs and another /cpose, just the bard idea here in spot on.

I'd like an emote where you lay/sprawl on your side realxing on the ground. Just like cats perching on a high place.
