Eve and Runescape were disqualified for cheating. They were first and second.

I can imagine those numbers coming from players who don't even play the perspective game to try to get the games disqualified. I hope that wasn't the case with EVE and Runescape

Some players are saying (admitting) that they have cheated when voting for FFXIV, so there is a chance that FFXIV will be removed from the race, because of fraud.

Its rather odd that they're "admitting" to using spam bots. "That big number you see there? Yeeaaaaah, that was all me. Sorry." I think they're purposely ruinning the poll. Its odd that its happening to the more popular games, too.

I wont FFXIV and there are serval reasons why. HW wasn't something I expected it to be, I thought it be somewhat a overhaul somewhat of certain things like how dungeons are, raids etc are, but no it's not. HW story is amazing but that alone doesn't make the best MMO.

That poll is useless, this a very obscure site, the people that spam more on reddit and forums wins, also 2 games have been disqualified, that should already end this poll.

I don't get all these people on the thread saying that didn't vote for FF tho. I have played every single game of that list and none is nearly where FF is today. It's not best MMO 2005, it's best MMO of 2016. Why are you even here to start with?

As far as people cheating to get FF ahead how do we know that the person saying they cheated isn't just saying it to get FF removed from poll? Because I don't feel FF needs any type of cheating to be the best.

Eve I've only heard of so idk but runescape I played many ages ago sorry to say I don't think it should even be considered anyhow not for 2016. I take it as these people are saying this stuff because they play this game that wasn't even considered & their clearly upset it didn't make it.

This is precisely what made me skeptical about this when this thread originally came up. The sheer amount of votes they had in such a short amount of time by comparison made no sense.

You can only vote for 1 game everyday while the voting is still up. But unless ASTA isn't taken out of the poll its going to win lol

I think its an upcoming game but I'm not really sure I never heard of it either. Its winning because all the EVE and Runecape players are voting for it and putting it all over reddit and stuff to vote for it.
