Like swiss_Momo said, they're based on old Germanic/Saxon names. Of course, that doesn't make them any easier to pronounce :p
A while back a friend and I were accused of being bots for not running a dungeon the way the other party members thought it should be run. Whether they were trying some new stupid way to insult us or honestly thought such; It's really more how they act that gives bots away I guess.
I would report you as a bot :p
Joking aside i have also seen conjurer bots and archers but yes for the most part it is blm
If you joined my party, and your name was "Asdfhjkl Uikjjiijk", I would likely call you a different Midlander Hyurin name every time I address you.
"Watch out for those AoEs, Larry." "Hey, Walt, don't stand in that." "Come over here, Ted, let's attack this one." "Did you say your name was Bob?" "One sec, Jimmy, I'll Raise ya!"
I'd notice that it's not a bot name. The forename is a row of letters on the keyboard, and the surname has both way too many double letters and is focused on the right hand of the keyboard.
Bot names have a distribution of letters not related to the layout of a keyboard, and only have a double letter in their name if RNG happens to put it there, with a 1 in 26 chance per letter.
I'd probably avoid interaction and would never accept a friend request.
As an addendum to what I said two posts ago: After last Thursday's maintenance, I noticed that the Gilgamesh Novice Network was filled with bots that, interestingly enough, were all using lalafell names.
I named an alt Wtbgg'noob Catg'rils before as an OBVIOUS parody of what most gilseller names at the time looked like and ended up having to change the name due to harassment from the general player base.
If you made your name by rolling your head across the keyboard then, no I would not report, unless you tried to solicite, but, in stead, just leave.
Why would you want to act like a gil farmer? Why make a name that gil farmers use?
Not smart enough to make up a simple name so you just mashed your face in the keyboard and said, "Wow, what a name, nobody will think i'm a gil farmer".
There's a free company of gathering bots on Balmung that have seemingly normal-looking names (two different girl's names for the first and last name) so even normal names are suspicious these days.
Well... i'd probably ask you a question with an obscure answer and see how natural your response was, then i'd question if you were a bot program. But otherwise i'd not care.
Tell people how to pronounce your name. If you can give a pronunciation to it then at least it's lore friendly :p.

If My Character Name Was "Asdfhjkl Uikjjiijk", How Would You React?
No, not even Asdf, Mumbles, or John Doe, just "Bot".
Probably like this
Asdfhjkl Uikjjiijk is now blacklisted.
Since it looks like most of my existing blacklist.
I wouldn't even notice name to begin with.
DF- u'r doing u'r job/role right/okay & seam semi-normal in character movement/placement, I'd pay u no mind, Ironicly enouf theres probably a "Bot" somewere that somehow out DPS the DPS I have seen in my crapiest runs that probably still haunt my avi's dreams
Open-world- probably same as above just u'd get the 2nd cheack of if u can hold a conversation & act intuative... seriously thou I'm the type of person who wants a AI android assistant so bot/not-a-bot don't care as long as u'r doing u'r job/class right-enouf that shit gets done
I'd mistake you for RMT not gonna lie. As soon as I see you acting like a normal player though I'd feel bad for doing so.
I get mistaken for RMT pretty often because of my name. The perks of being a Sea Wolf I guess.
I would just assume you had dealt with the customer service at ESO and happened to have the character creator of FFXIV up while you were smashing your head against the keyboard.
If you were pleasant and not phony I would react positively.. if you were rude or even worse .....phony then I would ignore ya ~.o
