Not really. The thread seems like an excuse for junior-pledge elitists to pat themselves on the back so Elysium or some other big-deal LS will notice them...or something.

I say give the content a couple of weeks to see if anything seems off--be it in terms of HP, damage, etc. At the most there may be a tweak or two unless they see something really out of whack.

See. People can comment without looking down their noses at people who don't raid or fancy themselves MLG-caliber (whatever that means).

If only that were accurate. I've seen people chomping at the bit for a nerf to Weeping City which, frankly, it doesn't need. It's not a hard fight, you just need to actually do mechanics instead of facerolling your keyboard. Let Weeping City keep its teeth. The challenge is what makes it enjoyable.

I'd say the only thing that needs an actual adjustment is a clearer visual effect on the bomb debuff at Ozma. Not knowing that you have the debuff until the last 3 seconds (unless you're staring at your buff/debuff bar throughout the entire triangle phase) is rather questionable design.

One could argue the entire mechanic in general should be re-worked, there's nothing about the mechanic that makes it clear that you're going to die if you even attempt to do anything while you're afflicted by it, and even after dying a few times, there's still a possibility that people still can't understand how the mechanic even works. (I've had people arguing that it's safe to attack until you see the dice during the final 3 seconds of the debuff, but I've done that and still died. The only thing that's seemed to consistently work for me is doing absolutely nothing at all for the whole 8 second timer, which makes me think I'm either doing something wrong or it's one of the worst designed mechanics in existence.)

Nothing else really needs to be touched, because everything is really within reasonable limits. It's up to each individual player to handle it properly.

I do NOT want this to be nerfed, ever...

This is the most fun 24 man content I have played yet. Its way better than crystal tower.

Keep it the way it is, let people learn mechanics and communicate as a team.

For those who want nerf, are you not ashamed yourself that you already got i240 gear and relic but still want nerf for your "casual" need? Pfft.

The raid is barely 24 hours old. It's far too early to declare whether or not the raid needs a nerf. The devs don't like making big changes based on what little data they collected. Give it a few months, THEN you'll see if it needs a nerf or not.

Lol pardon with the multi meaning on previous post but what I mean is your gear is already powerful yet you want nerf because you can't easily beat it? Anyways I voted for no nerf.

I haven't done this yet but it sounds exciting! I don't want it to be nerfed lol.

Actually, I enjoy the mechanics of pretty much all of them (except the first boss, she's annoying more than anything).

My biggest fear is that they nerf upcoming 24 man raids into wow's LFR.

This is what a 24-man SHOULD be. It tests your coordination and is fairly easy if all 24 players do the mechanics right but is fairly punishing for screwing up. They nerf IS NOT NEEDED! Give it a week or two for all the mechanics to by figured out and the Youtube guides uploaded and people will be complaining a lot less. #nonerf

I don't see why they would nerf nothing really hard about it. I've only done once got omza 1% before ppl started rage quitting. Fight is fun Support the non nerf 100%

Don't nerf weeping city please, I enjoyed the difficulty it offers, I do not want another void ark where I could just summon eos/selene and click follow on the other healer!

Finally a 24-person FFXIV raid that actually feels like a raid! The fights are interesting and challenging, but not too difficult for DF pugs. Based on the current Savage and this patch, the game seems to be moving to a really good direction!

You wanna know why there is a perception of the majority of players being lousy scrubs and raid statics have a hard time forming/replacing members? Because the difficulty curve is rather steep. Why is that? Because of lack of midcore content? Why that? Because apparently the people that say they want it are either lying or outvoiced. I like to think that the latter is the case here. I feel if the difficulty were to be reduced it should be ether because the content was irrelevant or because the average skill is higher.

SE, Until the last leg of the "Shadows of Mhach" arc is released, I ask that mechanics remain untouched (Same applies to Nidhogg).

Awesome raid, enjoyed from start to finish :)

I just went in for my second time today.
The first time I went, the other alliances seemed very well prepared and didn't wipe. Our alliance wiped at the very end of Ozma and several times on the final boss.

However, being my 2nd time, I knew a lot more of the gimmicks than before. Compared to the first time, avoiding damage was relatively easy. The only trouble came when other members of the alliance (almost all first-timers) didn't understand the gimmicks and failed to prevent raid wide damage, instant KO etc.

I think if everyone knows the gimmicks and goes in at least twice, it is actually relatively easy!
As with everything, practice makes perfect.

Please don't nerf this content!

It's too mechanical for a casual 24 players raid. It's not hard for individual player to learn but requiring 24 (or at least 15-16) people to do everything correct is a bit too much.

Even if you know everything and have beaten it before, doing it with DF might end up failing or getting forced to abandon by the majorities.

You guys are crazy. After we wiped for the millionth time on Ozma, one guy in my party was all like 'I'm glad I already cleared it this week!' ... ... ... What?

I got my clear this week and the last thing I want to do is go back. I have to do this every week? The nerd rage and crying is almost unbearable; the Weeping City is a fitting name.

I really hope they don't nerf it. It's much more fun than Void Ark. Tho I have to say that it's easy once you understood all of the mechanics - which aren't as hard as some people might think. What I like the most about Weeping City is, that it actually requires teamwork!

It's fun, it's challenging, you can't lose your focus or you will probably end up dead. I really hope they don't nerf this.

I couldn't agree more. I never thought I would see the day when the biggest problem in an MMO was that people didn't know how to communicate and coordinate in "group" content.

I still have to do it, I reached 2nd boss the try I managed the first day, then I didnt have time to go in again ç_ç I want to learn mechanics and I dont' want a nerf

None of the mechanics are really that difficult to figure out, and most mistakes are recoverable.

Worst difficult dungeon for 24 man dungeon ever in this game, never got sooooo pissed and angry in a game before >_>

It deserve a Nerf on all bosses, remove/weaken some mechanics(!) or all items in chests should be x2 and TWO weekly gears from it to BE actually rewarded!!!

If there are only 30mins left, as it MOSTLY is so far in my failures... Entire raid should get 15-25% Buff!

I dont like those hard stuff in an MMO! Im playing games to enjoy and have fun(!), Not to get frustrating!
Never played nor I WANT to play those Crazy hard Primal runs or way harder Alexander/Midas, and dont ask me about what "coils" is, Never was there in my almost 3 years of playing. <.< (I still hope we get at a normal difficult version) <-<;
