Odd layout because keyboard, smaller icons are the keyboard extra key locations and what not.

I've kept my HUD pretty standard, with a few additional Hotbars as well as moving the Focus Target bar to my Hotbars.

Got around to creating a macro for a combat setup haha :) Gear button takes me back to the organised chaos you see in the starting post :D
Many of you could really use a "/hotbar display [#]" macro or two to get rid of some of that button clutter. XD

I took this screenshot by mistake, thanks for giving it a purpose :D

My party list is set to the right near the center, and alliance right below it.
Tank HUD. I like to have a lot of open visual space for call-outs. The party list being in the upper left hasn't inhibited my ability to stone skin/cover on PLD.
(Although I would never heal w/ this HUD)

Since these pictures, I have also learned how to hide the quest log, but I forget to do that half the time..
I really can't hang with a lot of clutter D:
I don't usually modify my interface too terribly much. I just like to separate out the nonsense that is the chat, and then special-use hotbars.

You could actually copy/paste your UI layout files here for others to use (for PC - not sure about console).
But no idea if that's breaking any terms and conditions.
I like having my most used buttons within hands reach, while keeping the middle of the screen clean. So mine is like this:

The empty space between the chat box and action bars is where the enemy list goes ;)

Sorry for poopy cropping :X
Im on ps4, this is my general ui

Hahaha wowza necro. But interesting thread. xD Glanced through the pages and was boggled by the clutter! To each their own, but I cannot believe how many people play with their UI elements so HUGE! xD
Here's my usual set up.

I don't normally have the party UI showing if I'm solo - I just turned it on to show where it would be were I grouped up. Basic idea is, minimizing the size on just about everything and clearing up the center of my screen. Party UI is just to the left of center so that it's within my field of vision, which means I can keep track of people's health without losing sight of the mobs and floor in front of/beneath me. Chat box and quest log I keep larger because my vision is terribad. >_<
Here's where all the non-visible UI elements are. I don't play on a console, so the cross bar is just shoved wherever.
I play on a Sega Dreamcast.

Cool thread.
I like my current setup, used some variation of it for a long time now.

My hud is very simple:p
Hiding my hotbar till i press r2/r1 :p which is between chatlog and my hp bar.
Partylist up in left corner size 120%
And my quest list is under my map with 100% dp

Here's mine. Quite compact really I tend to keep stuff close together. the vertical hot bars are just visual indicators for cooldown skills

Layout
Keep the enmity list near the party list so I can see all enmity information in one place on the screen.
Alright. I'll bite. Y'all can rip my UI to shreds for being to clunky or whatever. I like it though.

Please, don't hate me for playing with low graphics :/ If I don't play like this, I have performance issues, whereas it runs just fine with just glare turned on on low. Comes with living in a place where we get almost 40° C during the day.

My resolution is 1366x768, so many aspects of the UI look huge at the original size. Had to decrease them, obviously. The map and the duty list had to be kept on a higher scale compared, or I'd have problems reading them.

Both alliance lists go directly below the party list, one on top of the other at a decent scale. Just below them are the notices and the progress bar, spaced out neatly. They go down vertically at about 80-90% scaling. The enemy list is directly beside the party list and below the target list, respecting the lines from the HUD editor. The duty list gets replaced by the specific duty.

Pretty simple with 1600x900 screen

Mine's a little weird I guess. I only use cross hotbars even though I'm playing on a PC because I have health issues that make it too painful for me to sit pretty often. So I need to be able to read and control everything from across the room in my bed. I have macros that explain why I can't always type too.
I like mine clear.

I adjusted my HUD to create a cleaner look :3 I like it more than my old one, since it's less cluttered. But I miss having my class buttons on screen :P Takes some getting used to, hehe.
