What are you doing to prep for 3.3?

You sure? I thought GSM was necklace, bracers, earrings and rings. GSM, LTW and WVR are also my current specialist DoH's though it has been a while since made any but I thought GSM did those in the past unless SE have changed it. I am at work so might have to check later. If the majority of new accessories are CRP then I guess will switch GSM to CRP. I was sure I created rings, necklaces and maybe earrings on GSM in the past...but I could be wrong.

They were GSM in ARR but since HW it's been CRP. eg: http://xivdb.com/item/12022/Astral+Birch+Ring

How do you actually switch your specialist? I currently have LTW, WVR and GSM and I've been thinking of switching GSM to BSM once I hit 60 on BSM.

I know you can purchase a new specialist soul stone with red scrips, but how does it work after that? Do you have to unequip GSM? Go back to Foundation to speak to that NPC? Do you lose your GSM soul stone completely?

Spend your 480 red scrips on a new stone, talk to the specialist NPC in foundation, tell him which specialist you want and what one you are giving him in exchange for it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was thinking of tokens not scrips. Not sure why SE picked 480 though when the weekly cap is only 450.

Yeah, maybe I'll wait for 3.3 in hopes that red scrips are uncapped. I'm in the process of getting main hands right now (yes, I know I'm way behind). I should have my weaver main hand tonight or tomorrow.

They won't be, don't count on it.

They might uncap them after the last major patch of HW, a month or two before release of 4.0. Other than that, red scrips will be on a weekly lockout and the top scrips.

Regardless of whether they do or not, I will wait. I have main hands to get so I cannot spare any to use on a new specialist stone.
