New Mount: Bennu

I've seen someone riding Bennu and it looks like Zu with red color lol

24 USD? Seriously? Why is the Bennu double price compared to the Magitech? They are both simple recolors with music included aren't they?

I'm glad that it's account bound this time around. That really should be the standard for the vast majority of purchased items, in my opinion. It also shows that they're listening to feedback - so I respect them for that.

Because Bennu is account-wide and both Magitek were one per character.

Huh, thats kind of a weird mount to be honest, much rather have Phoenix as a mog station mount that plays from ashes music...why would they make it a bennu thats pretty much just a recolor of a mount already in game? :x Only possible reasons I see are to make a quick buck (of course) and that primal birds will equal Pheonix in the end like ponies did for Kirin... still a pretty bizarre mount to have in mog station.

Was intending to make collection on WoW but as I arrived at cataclysm I miss too many things and it's hard finding people for old content. Also, drop rate are shiet. I prefer to collect on FFXIV on which one I'm here since ARR and whom death isn't near

I bought the mount and I am happy with it now I can just patiently wait for the Zu prices to drop :P

I want that Bennu mount since it looks way cooler than Zu, but the price is scaring me off a little. Good to know it's account-wide, but it's still really expensive... Ahhh, decisions!

Can't decide between buying this, HW or ARR collectors edition or just a month of sub with some online cash i got.

I'm getting Bennu since a Zu is about 6.5 million in Zalera and way out of my price range. I would only get The Zu I'd if it played "The Zoo" by The Scorpions when I ride it!

Nah its a bit big imo for a mount, but hey worth it since it plays the Turn 12 music i believe.

LOVE IT and the music is great! So glad I didn't waste 5 million gil on the Zu.

I bought it. No regrets. I had no qualms about it. Plus, I much prefer the colors on the Bennu over the Zu.

I think the cash shop one looks better than the fc one. I have the gil to buy it since it's around the cost of a minion now on my server which is at almost flat 1 million gil and dropping. I haven't used it much though so idk if this mount was $15 then maybe I would get it for just collecting them but since it's $24 I will probably not until later when there is a sale. It still would have been better to drop this in T13 and the player base would probably go back and experience coils despite being unsynced.

Probably not, since they're different and having both is a thing. Some people like to collect.

Does anyone happen to know if the mount size changes sizes with race? Or is this a mount that stays the same large size even on lalas?

Zu does not scale, so this one is probably the same.

Yeah, that 184K price tag is absolutely insane. Last night the Zu on Gilga had dropped to 3.8 million. Then some ass went and bought 6 of them and re-listed them for over 5 million each.
