Regarding Free Company Alliances

It was mentioned in a past live letter that there were plans for this. Is this still happening?

I've found myself wanting to ally my free company to one or two other free companies in the past, even making a linkshell and having our members join, but that's not enough. I would like something that would allow us to share housing and maybe even some minor FC permissions (Like house decoration or an improved ability to help with the workshop). Seeing if someone from other FC's has logged in would be great also.

Regarding the Novice Network (Part 1)

Is there anyway you could differentiate between a DoW/DoM mentor and a DoH/DoL mentor? If that's the case, can there be a way to differentiate who is a mentor of both?

Regarding the Novice Network (Part 2)

In the case of Hyperion server (and I'm sure many other legacy servers as well), the number of "New Adventurers" that aren't bots or alts are never higher than the number of mentors online at the moment.

I believe that, at least for these servers, the novice network could be further used for any player (regardless of level) to temporarily join the network and ask questions. Would it be possible for someone that isn't a "new adventurer" to join?

For example, someone that has reached level 60 and finished the HW story might want to start gathering / crafting, but currently they have no easy way to determine who is a DoL/DoH mentor and would have a hard time finding answers.

Regarding Crafting

I noticed that red scrip materials (such as purified coke and raziqsand) aren't used in 3.2 recipes; Are there any plans for future recipes that use these? I think the best way to make use of them, moving forward, is via rare glamours or housing item recipes.

Regarding Collectables

I have (very often) finished a craft and then realized I didn't have my Collector's Glove buff on. Is it possible a crafter could have a visual reminder (like Byregot's symbol on top of their heads or a light aura around them), when they turn the Collector's glove on? I find this would help us immensely in remembering to turn on Collector's Glove (Something like this could also apply for gathering).

There were no Sightseeing Log entries added in Patch 3.2. Will we see any more added in Patch 3.25 or later?

For checking on the Beast Tribe allowances, can you put it in the Timers Window so we don't have to keep checking on how many allowances we have left for the day at the beast tribe areas?

Regarding Paladins

First of all, I would like to commend the team on the current changes to Paladins. These changes really have made Paladins more desirable.

Paladins, however, still have a problem regarding AoE damage.

For dungeon runs, I would rather use Warrior or Dark Knight because they can help defeat groups of enemies better than Paladin can.

Our only current option is Circle of Scorn. Is there any way this can receive a buff in damage?

I understand that this may be asking for a complete overhaul of this ability, and that it risks Flash becoming a bit obsolete.

To counter these two situations, I would suggest that Circle of Scorn's damage be increased against blinded enemies.

This would increase Paladin's AoE damage, without changing Circle of Scorn too much, and the synergy with Flash would still make it very relevant.

Since 3.2 has been released and there's a sephirot like egi in the fight, is that a test for the upcoming egi glamour system? is it still in the works?

I wouldn't say it isn't useful in dungeons (I main ninja) but yes more oomph in our aoe would be nice

Healers and Accuracy

With the introduction of the Antitower and Lost City of Amdapor (Hard) healers are now noticeably below the accuracy required for casual content. While it is possible to reach the required accuracy by melding a number Heaven's Eye Materia V to tome/alex gear or through penta melds on crafted gear, this creates a situation where healers have to use some of their customization potential to achieve something that they were already previously able to do. Quite frankly, the new dungeons do not require enough healing under normal circumstances to keep me from becoming bored, even at i206.

Would it be possible for either a) small amounts of accuracy to be added to healer gear like in 2.0 or b) an accuracy buff be added to Cleric's Stance or c)the Caster accuracy required for these and future roulette dungeons to be lowered.

Will Summoners get a Shiva pet in the future? I don't mean a glamour of Shiva...I mean an actual brand new pet with its own abilities.
I understand having a Bahamut pet would be...an OP summon...but Shiva has always been a pretty common primal to summon in a lot of FF games.

Upgrading FC House Sizes

Can we PLEASE upgrade the size of our Free Company houses, or at least allow them to transfer to a zone of their own allowing them to upgrade in size?

This would be an incredible gil sink and something that would unite players.

My most important request:

Please implement a Free Company Calendar in-game.

I cannot stress this enough, we NEED this to keep members staying. Subscriptions are lost way too often because people think there's nothing to do.

I get why Paladin's are the weakest DPS tank and I'm okay with that, if anything I think they could make the defensive buffs better, but PLEASE do some type of buff to AOE, either buff Circle of Scorn, make Flash do damage or make Flash an ogcd that still requires mp similar to Empyreal Arrow needing TP.

Or maybe something else entirely, but sometimes it is very frustrating attempting to keep aggro from say a BLM and a SMN w/ gear better than my own.


My question, Will Paladin get an AOE buff in the near future?

The Gnath's mount continuously does its sound when idle and moving. Will there be any future mounts that emit sound in the same manner? The Kongamato's didgeridoo-like hums was a neat delight to find and listen to.

As somebody who has never tanked in an MMO, HotN has been useful for learning the basics. SSS, while very useful to someone who has their job down pat and is trying to max their DPS to ensure they can beat a new trial, doesn't feel nearly as helpful as a learning tool...because it doesn't account for mechanics. Are there any plans for something like HotN for late game, to give players who are behind in skill a chance to practice boss mechanics like stacking, reading telegraphs, etc? As someone who personally struggles on a few key trial mechanics simply due to lack of practice, it seems like a safe space for folks to practice without interfering with veteran players might be a good idea, as it was with HotN? I am aware the absolute best practice is, of course, the encounters themselves, and there's no REAL substitution... It sucks to be trying to learn a fight, and have veterans get mad at your lack of skill, and leave the instance, on a fairly regular basis; makes it hard to learn.

I spend my time crafting so that I can afford my own house. I want to know more details about personal housing moving forward. Specifically, will more Lavender Bed [etc.] wards be opened in 3.3?

Are you comfortable with talking about current thoughts on how Blue Mage or Red Mage would work with the mechanics of FFXIV? I imagine you've been asked this more than is necessary, possibly inducing insanity, but...what do the jobs look like in your mind currently?

Would it be possible to introduce a shuffle/roulette mechanic to the Orchestration? I would love to just jam while crafting without having to get up and change the tune...

Do you have any plans to expand the Hall of the Novice content in the future, say, in order to address any new mechanics that newer players might struggle with? (Example: many late game bosses have aoe attacks that do not show an aoe marker; many new players are surprised by this and have difficulty figuring out what to look for in order to avoid the devastation...)

I have been expecting a change to the Gold Saucer tournaments for some time now (I've been somewhat vocal on the forums...my apologies if I have seemed intense) and since the recent patch hinted at forthcoming changes to at least chocobo racing, can you please just put me out of my misery and talk to us about the Triple Triad and LoVM tournament exploitation issue, and what is being considered for the purpose of fixing said problem?

Will Ninja and Bard global cooldown clipping ever be addressed? More on Ninja in particular, wouldn't an easy fix be to lower Huton speed gains in place of a split buff to damage and speed?

Will we ever get a better method of reporting RMT activity? The amount of harassment players receive on certain NA servers is severe and nothing has been done about it for years.....

Is there going to be any plans to add the Curiel Roots to the Vath Stickpeddler's store? It just seems really weird that you allowed them to sell the Tantalplant, Mimett Gourd, Sylkis Bud and Pahsana Fruit, but not the 5th and final special feed for Chocobos.

Any future plans to change wanderers minuet And return bard to a non caster class (dubbed bow mage by many) or give it back its mobility.

A lot of people are unhappy with the caster play style bard has adopted.

Would you ever consider allowing thinner or smaller bodies for males, particularly Humes, Elezen, and Miqote?

What plans do you guys have for PvP Equipment that has slots for Materia, yet in all PvP instances materia effects are always ignored? I have to admit frankly it seems as though by placing so many restrictions on the materia system, it almost seems as though in every instance the system has been heavily triple checked into obsoletion for PvP related content.

My Question: At current we are seeing a very linear progression of gear & item level. While it works, it offers little in the way of diversity and choice. (Only "choice" being avoid the excess of stats: Parry, Skill Speed, Spell speed etc and feel sad that DET and CRIT don't really have that much weight). Are there plans to incorporate new unique armor bonuses? set bonuses, unique skills multiple playstyle supports? i.e WHM Body Armor adds the "Refresh" effect at potency X. or Having 3 pieces of the Ninja Koga set grants extra debuff bonus to ninjutsu etc. Items that help cater to a certain aspect of a job more than another... One loadout could support the regen side of a whm more while deducting from its raw upfront healing (just an example)

FC crafting where people craft together, any chance we may see this, or is it always 1 person does all the work and 3 just sit?

In game, help wanted board, where a FC member can post a request of an Item or help to his or her FC members, that sits for a week or month and they can choose put up the bounty or offer items in return?

Inventory

I always find my rings invertory full since you need two per job and there's too much jobs and not enought space for all those rings. It could be posible to add an item to expand your inventory like in other games? or maybe just expand the rings inventory??

Language

Are we ever gonna have the game in spanish?? It's one of the most used languages in the world, why we don't have it yet? it's there any problem with translate it?
