I thought they said there were extending the deadline by 2 weeks which was originally March 23rd iirc.

Looks like despite the numerous concessions made the community team won't extend the time limit. Figured I'd post the full version of my entry here for all to enjoy. Trying to figure out how to cut down to 2:30 but not sure it's going to happen. My thanks to the C.Team and all people who submitted for putting everything they had into this excellent competition.

Will the final screening at the Nico Nico Chokaigi be recorded or posted here? If not here, will it be available somewhere else? Would really love to see all of the finalists in front of the crowd (not to mention if we were one of the finalists). Thank you in advance for any feedback!

So, the 29th came and went. Were the winners announced? I can't seem to find any mention of it anywhere.

Don't find the results either ! But I came by Kara Comparetto's (Jael Delphinium) page just to listen again (&again&again...) to her stunning production and I saw someone congratulating her on the comments so I guess she won ;)

The winner announcement was originally planned for today; however, we received a huge number of amazing entries (over 150 entries globally!), so the Sound team has requested a little bit more time to select the honorable mention winners.

Congratulations to the winners! Especially grand prize, absolutely beautiful! That being said, what an absolutely horribly run contest on the part of Square NA...First they announce the rules, then they go back and extend the deadline and provide sheet music (not fair to people who posted without it). Then they delay the winner announcement because too many entries. They had like what? 100+ winners for the Christmas screenshot contest? Sad they can't acknowledge people who put out real effort :-( Also,the winner is a PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN. Her video very clearly shows her name and location which was against the rules in the first place. Anyway, congratulations to the winners, but now we know that if you lack professional music training or recording software to avoid these events. My wife and I have unsubbed as of today. We are, however, thoroughly enjoying the millions of fans of Warlords of Draenor and are SUPER looking forward to Overwatch and Legion at the end of summer!

Competitions are always like this, so the only thing you can do is enjoy taking part :) Don't take it to heart, just have fun making music. Made my day that some pompous ass didn't come anywhere either, that to me was as good a prize as having won :D

So, uh...how do we claim our prizes? Or have they not been sent out yet? I've checked in-game and on Mogstation, but I don't have anything - not sure if I'm doing it wrong, or checking in the wrong place.

We'd like to take another moment to thank everyone who took the time and put in their effort to enter the Heavensward Music Contest. It was definitely one of our most involved contests!
