Whoa now, don't get all defensive about something that isn't being said. At no point did I say anything along those lines. I'm saying it'd be a dream scenario to separate the folks looking for equality that have substance to their arguments, and those simply looking to complain about nothing because equality is a hot topic. Hence the mention of logical argument and the types who are just eager to start something from nothing in the name of a cause. I'd hope you're not the latter, but unfortunately, your reply seems to suggest otherwise.
I firmly think it'd be a nice addition to remove the gender lock restriction, but I also don't care in ANY GAME I PLAY whether or not it's a thing. Yes, that means male characters I play as are involved in the process. Your sort of hasty reaction (see my original frothing at the mouth comment) discredits actual progress because you choose to initiate hate upon those who gave you none if you understood what was being said, and that's the sort of people I really don't care to have on the side of equality (and am mocking). You know how when there's a riot and people show up just to start mayhem under the guise of a just cause? Yeah, those people. Maybe they do believe in the cause, but their actions do more harm than good. The same can be said about even minor first-world problems like equality with clothing in a video game. Even then, people just join up and hurt without even thinking it through.
