i bet it don't include DoL and DoH materias
Activating Divine Veil on my own now \(*0*)/
So happy I don't have to poke all my healers a million times to notice my chat indication now! And shorter casting time for clemency! Such yes! Many Wow!
And being able to preview furniture dying will save me a lot of dye from this point forward.
So happy with just about everything.
*GOES CRAZY*
But for the love of god I cannot find the date it is released. When is it? Someone, help!
Moogle Miniature, Pterodactyl Strap, Blessed Fletchings, all Anima weapon crafts, how can there be a fix for what isn't broken? all 8 crafters are (somewhat) equally involved in obtaining the i210 relic, the three crafters you listed actually have it easier because you do not have to HQ the Anima items in order for CUL / BSM / CRP to take those and make HQ turn ins.
So I noticed we are getting the Eikon gear and the Lore gear, The Lore gear is directly named in reference to the chosen Primal, so then what is the Eikon gear? Something entirely different from what I can tell.
Maybe we will be getting more different Primal gear than we thought, or maybe I am getting excited for nothing.
What's the ilevel of the Lore weapon/gear and the ilevel of the Midas normal gear? And what is the ilevel requirement for Midas Normal and Sephirot Normal? Thanks!
Weren't we supposed to get more housing wards in 3.2? :(
Yeah, but they always used to show new housing wards in the prelim patch notes before. It would seem silly to keep it out when people on my server literally have to camp just for a very small chance at getting a plot when the servers come back online. Some people have to go to work or school, and knowing whether or not they'll need to pull an all-nighter is kind of a big deal.
I believe it was said new wards in 3.3 in one of the live letters.
Also true, I don't expect any new housing wards until ishgard housing opens which I doubt will be until after the dragonsong war ends.
I could've sworn I saw something with Yoshi-P talking about adding new wards, increasing the furniture limit, adding apartments to each city-state's housing district, etc. Oh well, thanks guys.
The patch notes look great, with some really unexpected changes, and I'm really looking forward to 3.2 - even more so than after the trailer.
While this is sorta off-topic, I actually think senpai (and its counterpart, kouhai), would be useful loanwords for a few European languages, English included. While there is the junior/senior pair in English, it doesn't quite capture the same meaning and nuance as kouhai/senpai do, because junior/senior are (to my understanding, I'm not a native speaker) sort of contextually tied to age, whereas kouhai/senpai can be used in any situation (be it work, sports, education, or whatever) where there's a difference in experience, regardless of age. German, as another example, has absolutely no equivalent to either junior/senior or kouhai/senpai, and would really benefit from the pair as loanwords. You may call me a weeaboo now.
to enter midas normal ilvl 200 , sephirot 205

Well, the big question has been answered, kinda. Based upon the notes, the Hildabrand sidequest is separate from the previous sidequest. I only hope that is really true.
To more important matters:
1. I am excited that it seems that the storyline for 3.2 appears to be long. Looking forward to it.
2. I am excited that the Trial and Dungeons are ilvl 180. Means I am ready now for them.
3. I am kinda pev'd that Midas normal is Ilvl 200. I was expecting ilvl 190 since that is the Gordias Savage is ilvl 190. I have alot to get done this weekend and hopefully get enough so I can get in as soon as possible to clear. So far good story, and good gear.
4. The Feast looks interesting. Not a PvP player but might try it out.
5. Since I have been working Gathering, not really thrilled with the increase in required scripts. The boost to 9 of 5 is nice, but not at almost double the original price. I would have expected an new tier to provide 9.
So, everything is looking interesting. Wish the load up was tonight!
still no Gobdip except from A4S...
or maybe it's just missing from the notes
That's what Google is for, no? With a quite high percentage of the population (judging by anime names) being involved at least to a degree with Anime or Japanese context (unless they only watch butchered dubs ofc), I still believe it would be appropriate. They can make very clear references to silly series (that do not fit the setting either) and yet leaving an original reference seems to be impossible.
Anyway, you can bash me as much as you like, I stand thinking it should have stayed "Senpai". Goes to the pile of "stupid things done in the ENglish version" along with things like "Fire/Ice 1-4" instead of the originals (fire, fira, firaga etc.).
Add: I give them the credit that it is not as bad as the German names for the titles, though!
Not done reading yet, but so far I think I'm happiest about finally being able to dye starter gear.
I'm a simple person :X
Looks like a good patch.
Feel left out as SCH on all those job changes :( Though, we really didn't need any.

After reading completely the 3.2 notes, they didn't notice about removing the Light or Full Party requirements for Workshop crafting phases?
Aw come on... Why not just remove the progress phase requirements and let us craft alone in workshop.
It's irritating to bother everytime asking them to come to workshop and craft a single thing, its not necessarily to get a party. :(
We're going to see more Mentors than actual sprouts seeking help. Also new pvp gear, yay \o/
They didn't address dungeon relevance by considering synergy between Flash and Scorn or their damage components (or lack there of). They didn't make Clemency any more practical realistically. Why not something creative like giving Goring Blade ticks a chance to make the next Clemency instant? The change to Veil was minuscule. They could have addressed Cover to help PLD become a viable off tank. They could have made Shield Swipe into an AoE that only pacifies the primary target to help address AoE woes. They could have changed Sheltron to include magic damage. The list goes on, but the extent of their creativity seems to lie in only minutely changing values. They are out of touch with the tanking community and the meta they created.
A change to Dissipation would've been nice, but otherwise I agree.
Bismark was obsolete because (a) Uncapped Tome weapon was higher ilvl and (b) Ravana weapon was also available on release, so you could go for that while using Law weapon as your holdover.Quote:

- Containment Bay Weapon was higher level, seems obsolete on release like Bismark
At i220, Sephirot weapon is only below Lore and Midian weapons which you won't be able to get right away. It will make a good entry level weapon for Savage, just like Ravana's did for Gordias.
I sincerely hope that the current item lists just do not contain all of the items because if not... the Dravanian set (i195) seems to be our re-palette Orthodox gear?! I mean I'm sure it isn't but... it's a depressing thought if it came to be. x.x
Precisely, uncapped Lore > Seph just as uncapped Law(upgraded) > Bismark
That said, you are correct, it may take a few weeks to get the Lore weapon. The reason that the law one is different is because law wasn't weekly capped and it was released well before Alex etc.
Seph I guess is only obsolete after week 3 or so
But some of the best glamours are dungeon drops! Bogatyr(sp?) Thighboots of Ranging, so sexy.
Not to be a negative nancy, but...AST changes are kinda underwhelming, tbh. Still no buffs to Noct Sect to make it synergize with our toolkit better? (Sure did nerf the crap out of it in PVP quick enough, lawl.) Still no skill to let us draw a guaranteed card once every 2-3 minutes or so to give ASTs some measure of control over raid events? Still no decent AST AOE besides lolGravity, which we can't even use at 51 sync or below? (Same with Malefic II, ugh.)
PLD changes also seem like a potency band-aid rather than addressing the more long-term identity crisis that the class seems to be having currently. But PLD mains are more qualified to speak their thoughts on that than I.
Suddenly my static smn gets even more nuts dps and I get infinite tp. GG
Cause Malefic II is almost akin to Stone III. On the flip-side on the Gravity issue, AST has a way easier time pre-50 dungeons like AV than a WHM does because of AH being available unlike Medica II. But alas unless you take Blizz2 as AST you don't really have good AoE until 52.
Guaranteed cards were never going to happen, and YoshiP mentioned the potency increases originally were to account for the card RNG.
One thing for sure on PLD changes is the TP should be less than an issue even as OT. Shield Oats was already cancer in the last raid and getting back 5% is progress.
