Glamour Suggestion/Wishlist Thread

A /visor option for more headgear would be nice. I don't like the mandatory face mask on the Iga Zukin, and I'd have expected toggles from more goggles. I like the level 1 weapon skin idea a lot, too.

As for more modern/futuristic clothing, it's not outside the realm of possibility -- look at the stuff Alphinaud has been wearing since his introduction. His jacket-thing has a hood attached, although he rarely uses it. It's basically a hoodie. If that's the fashion in Sharlayan, then who's to say we won't see more of it?

Don't forget, it's also very likely we'll see some FFXV collaboration event at some point. It's a safe bet that Noctis and Luna's outfits will be available, just like Lightning and Snow's were for the FFXIII events.

Gear (that aren't rings) that have the sigils of the Twelve on them (you'd think the new PvP gear would have that)

Also Still want something simialr to Lightning Returns' Crystal Silence/Dark Discord shields...unless rainbow shields are somehow too modern for this setting.

Hi all - Quick question on Glamour (not sure if this is best place for it but I didn't want to make a new thread as my first post ^-^~)
I got the Lightning Armour from the mog station and wasn't aware that glamour existed etc and thought it was pure cosmetic as Im new back to the game and it didn't exist when I first started playing - I know you need to get to lvl 50 and do a quest etc - my question is
Can I Glamour the looks onto more then 1 item at the time - say at lvl 50 when I get the ability to do it, then again when I get lvl 60 gear (sooriginal Armour and 2 'copies') or would I need to use the de-glamour item on the lvl 50 gear first then re glamour on the lvl 60 gear?

Yes you can glamour an item as many times as you need - each time requires a consumable item called a glamour prism which is lost when you glamour the armour (the original piece of equipment is not lost), and you can copy that item's appearance as many times as you want as long as you have enough glamour prisms to do so. :) You can also overwrite an existing glamour with a new one too, or remove it (this requires a specific item to do so though).

Universal Race Specific Gear Glamour please!!

I have never wanted to change my Miqote to a different race, but ever since the beginning of this game I have been obsessed with the female Hyur gear, especially the boots! I want to suggest and hope that one day it will go through, that all of the race specific gear can be shared between any race and sex. Hope that there are other players that share this same idea. <3

I haven't read thru all the posts yet, but my vote is on high heels shoes. And I don't mean boots or said current heels that have colored socks attached to them (which we can't dye.. frustrating to coordinate ), I mean actual stiletto heels, like Shiva has... (course, even those are a bit overboard as well..still nice xD)

We have some now, but the cool ones (Gold Saucer or the old Soldier tome booties) have either some extra fluff we can't dye, has unnecessary bows somewhere or are attached to ugly style boots (High House ones are the only exception, those are nice). Even the wedding ones can't be dyed at all except the stupid bow on the back, and that's it! ><

An open Glacial Coat (without the skirt) would be wonderful. It would complete my new desired glamour, too because I need a coat with the fur collar, but I need it to be open! If there's one thing FFXIV is lacking it's jackets, coats, open jackets, open coats, sweaters and the like.

- Arachne shirt of scouting for all classes .
- Arachne field dressing of scouting for all classes.
- Arachne bolero for all classes.

- Another crown as Hailstorm Crown of Healing / Casting for all classes.

- Carbonweave and Ironworks Crafting Sets for all classes.
- Carbonweave and Ironworks Gathering Sets for all classes.
(Why they were not for all classes as Forager's Set and Artisan's Set?)

- Miner's Set, Botanist's Set and Fisher's Set (ilvl 55) for all classes.
- Carpenter's Set, Blacksmith's Set, Armorer's Set, Goldsmith's Set, Leatherworker's Set, Weaver's Set, Alchemist's Set and Culinarian's Set (all ilvl 55) for all classes.
(No longer serve as equipment, must be glamour!)

- More mini skirts for all classes and all genres (Similar to the Orison Skirt or Miqo'te Loincloths)

- Postmoogle Cap dyeable.
- Sable Death Mask dyeable.
- Lord's and Lady's Yukata dyeable.
- Eerie Garments dyeable.
- Field Commander's Set dyeable.
- Amatsu Set dyeable.

1. high heels (just a couple please)
2. jean jacket to match the thanatos attire
3. ability to dye entire item not just parts.
4. hot pink metallic dye, bright orange metallic dye and a ruby red metallic dye
5. fringed suede crop jacket that we can dye of course, preferably not crafted from a bizarre 1 in a billion chance, lets make it a complete failure rip off to get mats for item) *cough wool top....:)

6. never stop asking for glamour book :)

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but personally, I have a serious issue with the 2.0 primals weapons. The PLD has a sword from Ifrit, Garuda, and Mog, yet only obtains a shield from Titan. So how come BLM and WHM received 2H weapons in an update, yet PLD does not receive a shield to go alongside the Ifrit, Garuda and Mog weapons, as well as a sword for Titan's shield?

I personally can't glamour these weapons due to the fact of no matching sword/shield, depending on which weapon I'd like to use.

Wishlist: I'd like... at least the FFX-2 Yuna Songstress attire and her Gunner attire. I love Yuna more than any other female character, ever. I'd also love to have Lulu's dress. >.> Really, if you give me anything from FFX & FFX-2, I'm going fangirl out! XD

Legacy Chocobo: I would like to turn my Legacy Chocobo in a Campanion Chocobo solely for the sake of old memories and nostalgia. I love its unique armor and beak tattoo. I'd love to be able to use it as a companion because this chocobo was with us when the "world burned". I don't have to dye it or dress it up. I just want to adventure with it! It's just that feeling of being there when the servers went down for the reboot. Watching the final cinematics. Saying goodbye to friends you thought you'd never see again. For me, this chocobo holds a lot of memories from 1.0. So. Yes. I'd love to use it while adventuring. Maybe I'm the only one?

I'd also enjoy having more gear with leathers and furs akin to something Viking-like. Around the same idea as the Ala Mhigan tome sets and Qitana Ravel stuff. That's also not super revealing on dude's, or accompanied by some strange accessory like a tails...

Others have asked, and I concur....the ability to fully dye an outfit. Fine if I gotta use another dye on the collar etc... But let me do so.

Also heels were mentioned I would like a pair of thigh high, high heel boots.

I want dyeable Aviator glasses, please........if this is the only thing on my list that is even considered...... Please good lord, consider them.

More weapons made dyable, the whole thing dyeable. Ruby red lips.

More coat styles, duster, pea coats, military button up style.... All dyeable. Cardigans.

And Hilda's hair style. Also, some curly hair options without any bows or barrettes.

More dyes, every shade of grey, blue, red imaginable.

I'm going overboard here but I'm also going to put out the request for more masks, masquerade styles etc...

I believe that is gear already available in the game (not including her hairstyle and facial model, which is unique): her body piece at least is the same model as the Hussar's Jackcoat (that alas is only available for LNC/DRG).

You can get the archeoskin crafting or gathering set and I believe glamour that to any class?

All I want is a dyable Woad set.

And Gruhnewhyt (or whatever his name is.. you know.. buggah buggah buggahhh!)'s chainsaw sword for my gunbreaker...

More headgear with holes for ears to go through!
Hats that just hide Miqo'te ears makes me sad. I was delighted when I first started playing and the low-level gatherers' and crafters' hats had ear holes with finished edges.

More long, sleek gloves designs
I love gloves that go over the elbow, but many long gloves for drg especially have super heavy armor pieces that look awkward and top-heavy

Separate slots for head and face gear!!!
This is my dream. I can wear an eye patch and a helmet. A pair of glasses and a hat. It is a good dream. A beautiful dream. Even if the face slot is only cosmetic and gives no stats. Please. I think about this almost every time I log in.

This is goes a bit towards housing but is it possible to get an item that allows us to directly teleport into another house/apartment/fc_room. I have made my fc room be a secret floor of my personal house, but it takes me a bit off that i have to enter the fc in order to go to it, which is in another district.
Lastly can we get an ascian mask for tanks preferable one that is dyable, and maybe able to be used by all jobs or alternatively a hallowed chestnut mask variant

Also can smn get an emote or for trance a "mask" akin to what the ascians have, you know that red sigil that appears in front of their faces

I just want more gunblades options. I'm really hoping Tsukuyomi, Suzaku and Seiryu GNB/DNC weapons were just more so delayed than the others because of covid and what not. Just really bums me out still that GNB and DNC drew the short end of the stick. Though while we are on the topic of it all. I would love Squalls ultimate gunblade OG Lionheart

Yeah, I really hope they add more crafted primal weapons for GNB and DNC. It makes no sense to me they skipped GNB and DNC with the new batch of crafted primal weapons when they had added GNB and DNC weapons when they added Shinryu crafted weapons. It was bad enough they didn't add crafted primal weapons for all the primals, but to only make one and then ignore them after that just annoys the daylights out of me cause I love GNB, but when I have my Pld that has access to every glowing weapon available since 2.0 or Drk that has at least all the crafted primal weapons and Heavenward relics.
