Funny thing was, they recognized that there is an issue with regards to the PSN sign ins, and shortly after, released that they have resolved the issues, which in all our cases here, wasn't. what is the actual basis on which they can say that "oh, that issue is dealt with and let's move on"?
That is why I smell something fishy here, they have to let everybody know what is going on here, they owe us an explanation, I deleted my game aswell and I am reinstalling, will let you guys know the results, and I will check what version it downloaded.
Btw, where can you see the version? Or it will only show once it's downloaded?
it will show once it finishes downloading, and before launching it again. please if you can confirm that you get the same numbers as i believe everyone gets the same version number when the game launches. thank you!

i have an EU version of the game. PS4 is EU region as well.

and when I reinstalled the game I noticed that and I thought this since it recognized it it'll be fixed! but it didn't :/ I really hope they'll be able to fix this asap
so it is not just me then! i received an email from SE saying i should check this out for trouble shooting. i will try some when i get home and hopefully, one of them will be able to fix this "issue" as i am getting sick and tired of this. Seriously considering unsubbing as this is not worth the money i am paying to look at the log in screen only. it is not like we will get credited for the days we lost once they actually fix this problem.
I saw that page but sorry it has nothing to do with our issue here, I haven't touched any of my settings and the game was going fine till I was starting to unable to sign, I did restart my ps4 and reinstalled my game and restarted my router nothing worked, and why would my security settings on my router would change? Everything was fine till they f... d up something obviously!!!! I am sorry but I pay for this crap and they need to fix asap and do something about the days we couldn't play though we are paying for it!!

What this person said, are you all from the same area/internet provider? Do any of you have the PC version to see if you able to log on through there? Have you tried contacting your ISP directly see if they can help, I know that people have done that with bad lag and blamed SE for it when it was really bad routing on the ISP end.

I doubt it's a connection or isp issue, everything else is working fine, I also play GTA online with no issue, so how are we blaming SE lol?! So many have the same issue, and it's also on the lodestone wall, they said they are addressing the login through PS3, ps4 to ff issue, they know exactly what is going on, the dates they are saying its a recovery date are way passed already!!!! What exactly recovered?? We cannot access our accounts that we paid money for and that is a ripoff in my opinion.
I tried in my PC and I logged in ... It works in my PC fine .. So it's not the Internet ... It's the psn or SE ^^
This problem is with all my friend ,we play via ps4 and we can't log in ,BTW we use the same ISP company T-T
That appear a lot on lodestone like least once a week, I play on PS4 console as main system logged on and off multiple times yesterday and logged on fine today on it right as of this post. There was on time I wasn't able to get on for 3 days but that only happened once in the time since the game has launched on PS4.

Dang.....isp is etisalat as well :( although this is only the first time in almost 2 years of playing ghat this has happened. What i do not get is why it only affects ffxiv?

I think we should try to connect ps4 via du ISP to know the truth , any body have du sim card can test it , use hotspot from mobile to check the problem, Unfortunately I don't have Du :/ , so can any body have Du test it and tell us the result :]
why only connection issue to ps4? pc has no problem so its gotta be something from psn themselves, i downloaded ff on my pc, the version number ends with 0001, while in ps4 it cannot update to this version its stays on 0000, so this is the issue, why only this game cannot connect? i have GTA online and it connects fine,and i think if they want to block a game lol GTA is worth this blocking not ff, so its gotta be some update issue ps4 has to fix.
