Ugh, PC issue's suck.

Many of the comments are trollestia worthy. No one's trying to create a hierarchy here because we play in 1.0, (well, maybe except Gath...)

Maybe I worded the OP wrong (and a bit emotionally captured), but when 2.0 releases it'll be a separate game from this one. I hoped to rally some dignified significance for the timeline we're set in. "Thank you for playing." Says Wada. We've grown into a community of support for this game, the players need to recognize their efforts just as much as FFXIV team.

Also, I've grown to like 7UP. I've only seen it around here and there though.

Given that I am a lab geek in real life, I'll take this as a compliment.

lol yes, no insult intended.

but in a way, we are the lab rats of this game, SE injects us with a new "drug" (ifrit) and watch how we react to it.

The "we want everything handed to us free with no gameplay nor effort"-generation. I'd add 5million XIII consumers to that group as well.

On the positive side I think game design is reaching the peak of brain-deadness and players are starting to want more involving experiences like they used to have. It seems like exploration and player freedom are becoming trendy words again for future games. I'd call the past decade in gaming as a bit of a growing pains stage where a lot of new ideas were tried without using the experience of the game development of past 30 years. Now that the apple-puberty is coming to an end I hope the only way from this soccer-mom hell is up =)
