Of course they all “recycle” some things every year but also add new stuff, we (FFXIV players- a P2P game) only gets a cheap quest to do 1 time in 30 min, that’s not an event but a seasonal quest.
For example on 2014 GW2 includes the same 2012 stuff with new rewards and also login rewards + dynamic events https://www.guildwars2.com/es/the-ga...ember-16-2014/ all the F2P games includes ALWAYS some cash items on seasonal events, FFXIV do the same when includes new items to the cash shop, that’s completely normal. But we only get cash items + 1 quest everytime.
Same formula for Valentine ’s Day / Halloween / Summer / etc

WoW Feast of winter is bigger every year http://www.wowhead.com/guides/world-...of-winter-veil with several achievement and stuff to do/get ( they recycle a lot tho, but is still a HUGE thing compare to the 30 min quest we usually get)

The Secret World always includes a new quest (a big one, boss battle -trial- include) + All the previous quest – change rewards / recycle some – every year http://www.tswdb.com/events/winter-holidays

I think it's better that miqo'te hoodies not implement here since the males gonna have reskin crap again pfft.

So disappointed in the event this year. The christmas tree was used last year and the "garments" are just...ugh. That cloak on the miqote was amazing.

Part of me prays that they're holding back on things to ramp up to something huge. But also part of me knows that it won't and we'll follow our same rotation since 2.0 :(

I'd prefer the beautiful cloak/hood, too, but I'm also a bit relieved we're not getting it, since they'd find a way to ruin the male version (if they bothered to give males an item at all).

It's nice to finally get a tree for inside, though. The outdoor trees are nice, but not having one to put the presents under inside was kind of a bummer.

Why is everyone talking about the clothes? Who cares about the f*cking clothes?!
We finally get an indoor christmas tree! I couldn't be more happy ;-; *happy tears*
This is all I ever hoped for, wished for and wanted.
We already have 4 different sets of christmas clothes, so again, who the f*ck cares about the clothes xD

Agreed...unfortunately the items that are there are pretty much 'meh' as far as I am concerned. Had they included that hooded garment, I might actually have anticipation for the event. Ah well, I guess this is a win for Roe/Highlander males who want a beard glamour...

That red hoodie reminds me of a gear from ffxi. Does anyone remember what one I'm talking about. There was a red hoodie that gave you like bonus to regen or something. Maybe its just another red hoodie and i have nostagia glasses on.

All the items kinda look bad this year, it is like they just dont care anymore...i remember when we used to get cool unique items from event now they just give us silly little glamours.

Last year Starlight is pretty good that you get the dress and sugarloaf hat. Maybe this year is the rest of item like accessories.

I finally found a use for that Majestic Mogtome I've been holding on to!
