Anyone ever see a retainer in the field?

I wonder if they appear in HW & SB areas. I've yet to hear about one there.

I saw that one recently! He stops on the road and says, "Where to next?" before continuing on his way.

I personally don't think any retainers appear in the HW and SB areas. I think it has to do with city-states and grand companies but it might just be devs cutting out some details. :(

Nope... haven't seen any in the field. Didn't even know it was a thing. Only time I see my retainer is outside my house with the extended duties item.

And could that retainer in the pocket above have a more generic player name for a master? Lol.
