They had a good intial plot with the weapon, but after hte first step they ended up funneling all the weapons into the same mold and upgrade process, and eventually scrapped the entire lore in favor of the zodiac weapons (which have very little lore behind it within the realm of the game itself)

I'm more curious about the researcher npc's hair. Is it hyur-only? Is it a female hairstyle that they have despite being male (because npc power)? Or is it a completely new hairstyle (and if so, will it be available to players)?

How does Gerolt end up on Azys Lla anyways? Does he bother Cid for a lift, or did I miss something in the storyline and Azys Lla is open to the general population? I guess we'll find out...

Gerolt is a "friend" of Rowena. And Rowena is the real final boss of FF14, so...

You don't need all the trials to do Trial Roulette anymore. Only need at least two trials.

Nope. We're supposed to get 3.15 before Christmas.

I can see it now, it ends up with more books and light farming. By the time we finally get it capped, a newer ilvl spectrum of gear being released.

Seriously though, if its gonna be brutal again, ill prolly end up just keeping zeta for glamour. Zeta lance looks awesome already.

I saw Gerolt and I pictured him talking to the warrior of light with, "Your old weapon? That thing is a joke, trash, piece of shit. We gonna make a new one from scratch with twice the monsters to slay! You adventures like to slay things right? Get to work!"

On my third weapon i'm on atma's book (real horror...)
And I got to finish 3 of them in 2 days (playing only a few hours)
Fate come fast, unsync dungeon, 30 mobs are joke same for unsync leves

Books are the hardest part i think... (I should say boring)
And the zodiac part if you can't craft and if you're poor XD

Where's the proof that its coming before Christmas. To me the fact that they have just previews no release date to me says otherwise.Also as with other patches the previews always came out the month before not the month of.

Ahh cool thanks. That also confirms another thing, someone tried to say Anima wouldnt go to 210. That confirms what I thought that there thinking of the upgrade item being added to Void Ark for Eso wep.

It would be awesome if I wasn't wielding a book, then I may have something to look forward to in terms of weapon aesthetics :\

We're already december 5th, c'mon SE!

I am so excited for this! I wonder how hard it will be? Back in 2.0, I focused on SCH and didn't branch out until after 2.5 really. By then it was a hassle to try for multiple relics, so I only have one. Would love to do maybe two this time!

In our FC we are making jokes about they will patch it as christmas present on 24th of december :)

But its not a Tuesday, so the best guess is to be around 29th of december!
I dont think they will make it on 22th of december - you know, delay and server issues...

Id say that probably wont make 22th but maybe they could make the 22nd, if were lucky the 15th. Yoshi has been saying before Christmas and that itll be before the live letter so 22nd probably.

Well according to the reddit post linked earlier with the Yoshi-P interview it's explicitly stated that it's a minor update and there won't be a live letter preceding it (https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...f_the_famitsu/ - first line), so it's still quite possible that itll come before the live letter hits.
