For me they seam to keep bring me crafted & old Tome ilv110 gear the creapist time once was 1 retainer brought back a HQ meal, then a Sea Cucumber... for over 3 ventures in a row... stoped sending her out on ventures after that (or even calling her from the bell) hasn't happen since but I sweare she's giving my avi this look every time I summon her thanks to that
Same one brought me a "Titan's Heart" back which has been in my carried inventory ever since

Oh please, my Retainer has brought me enough Sea Cucumbers to start my own Sea Cucumber farm.
still creepy no matter the amount becides with the shit they can aparently do while u'r not looking... u never know if they'll rig u'r Inn/Personal room or house full of nasty traps when on a venture (or do it to someone else while they gang rob them) I'm just hoping they are just going to the games "Lost & Found" (ie: not grabed or discarded items box) & just grabing some random item or else we may have to fear a retainer revolt since they clearly out number us at minimum 2 to 1
