2 days, one 12 hour lock out, 24 painstaking challenges, one massive hand cramp and a lot of rage and headaches later...and I have done it.

If you have any RTS experience at all this game is PURE PAZAAK
Biggest enemies are the terribad controls and AI
im loving the vermi clallsnges i only got a handful of minions but haven't ran into too many issues. With the big goobue fight similar to the guildhest i just used a buttload of goobue minions amd ot was HILARIOUS to watch them take it out.

Any tips for Final Coil ? :(
Use fast minions, like Hildy/Greg so you can dodge the megaflares. I also use some healers (WHM minion of light, but I guess Louisoix will also work and he's faster). I use a couple cheap and fast raptors as tower bait.
Here's a video of my first clear:

I did nothing but spam Yugiris and cycled through their ATK buffs, but I suppose any decent poppet will do. Then it's just a matter of moving out of AoE and putting at least one minion in the towers before they detonate.
Yeah, managed to clear yesterday thanks :) I found Louisoix was awesome with his high speed and healing skill. Had 5 of those with one as designated tower guy, and a bunch of Yugiris (Hildy's cost didn't seem practical). Lots of concentration having to constantly dodge the red spots and hitting towers, fun :P wish there were more challenges!
I think sometimes it happens. In my clear video I put a minion in a tower, it takes the damage and survives, yet the tower still does the aoe. It might be a random glitch.
Had fun doing the 24 challenges, haven't had a single problem with any of em. Wiped once on the nutkin one(13?14?) and the odin one. Liked all the battles and even how they introduced the battle mechanics of bosses in em.
Hope they add more later on!
There's 2 different, similar looking attacks. Early on he just uses an AoE attack that will kill just about everyone inside it, so move out. Then he adds the tower attack, which will only damage anyone inside it, unless nobody is inside it, then it destroys everyone. The fight requires constant micromanaging. You can't swarm him, or else he will run to the next arcana stone. Just attack with 4 Cid/Gentlemen at a time, and have some more on reserve.
