Watching latest episode of The Walking Dead. I also could finish my playthroughs of Dragon Age Inquisition, Pillars of Eternity or Life is Strange.

Play some Pokémon Y! I'm at the last gym but I'm gonna be catching stuff for my dex before I bother with the gym.

I watched The Voice and Blindspot with my mother and now I'll probably go read. I also discovered that watching The Voice with my mother is really annoying if you want to listen to the songs because she sings along with them and I'm too nice to ask her not to. :s

I played wildstar for a bit since it went free to play and I had an account from before. Funny thing is I met another person that said they were playing because of FF14 being down. I also watched my eagles somehow manage to win a game.

Playing Bloodborne again to get some practice in before the Old Hunters expansion drops in November. I need to sharpen up my skills with my lvl 40 Alfred rp build and max out my blood gems. Currently sitting at just over 700 AR with the Uncanny Logarius Wheel.

Anime binge on hulu (no adds now), write some code, play aram, play rocket league... and Sleep.

I downloaded the Japanese version of Blade and Soul just to try out character creation. After that, Tales of Zestiria!

Picked up a double shift at work, might as well earn some more $$ if I can't play.

Wish I could be playing FFXIV now so much I wanted to do today. But playing some other games instead.

I SHOULD be trying to fix my abnormal sleeping schedule, but you know how the forums work... :o

Whining because I've had no time to play and finally had nothing but free time when I got home from work today. :(

Logged in to LotRO, crafted a bunch of rep items. Logged in to Tera, stared at a Castanic ass for 10 minutes, killed some pigs. Logged in to EVE, did some PI. Looked at one of my chars on lodestone and realized I had forgot they only equip one ring over and over, making you remove the second so I have an outdated ring I need to replace. Checked iTunes to see if there is anything worth renting. Thinking I might go play some golf in GTA 5 next..

Well for starters I downloaded a f2p mmo called OniGiri off PSN.... at first I thought the controls are a bit of a pain in the tail but after a few adjustments the game is growing on me. Just got off that and went into my SE account and canceled my sub on FFXIV. I pretty much haven't played the game in 3 weeks... I didn't even bother to cap ESO's each week. Its not that I didn't have the time to pop on for a couple of hours everyday its just I hate 3.0 as far as battle classes are concerned. My most favorite job of 2.0 (BLM) is utter garbage... I hate having to look at a tiny little ICON on my screen all the time to keep track of enochian. My 2nd fave class of 2.0 (BRD) is a cluster puck.... in other words my favorite jobs were completely turned upside down then thrown into a blender w/out a lid then blasted all over the walls of FFXIV dev's cubicals.



Sure I can level up other jobs but I already have tried that. Got 7 battle jobs to 60 (8 if include sch and smn separate) and mnk is at 58. I don't like dot classes especially when you have to throw out 5 dots + spread + aoe burst + single target burst + pets + maintain the dots.... no thanks I rather play brd you know the most retarded job of 3.0.... you lose multiple ogcd's bc of WM then on top of that they are no better off as far as dps is concerned than 2.0 brd... only difference is brd is no longer mobile and are now bow mages... oh and we cant hit ogcd for nothing bc WM makes everything feel like you are on a toilet taking a huge doo doo in the middle of an earth quake.

BLM is so freaken awkward... Common devs why do dis?.... BLM already has to deal with lengthy cast times and loss of dps while traversing around the arena to avoid multiple aoe's.... And don't even try to tell me so do melee classes.... Melee classes have the least amount of down time when it comes to dps and dealing with mechanics... I know I've played every class and had EVERY single class to 50 way before 2.5 dropped. Drg can pop a jump skill and be right back in its rotation b4 blm can even start casting a bliz 3.... that goes for nin and mnk as well. BRD and MCH can take off WM and GB and keep taking pop shots while its moving around. So why one earth would the devs punish BLM's even further by adding a stupid timer to enochian? All they needed to do was once you run low of mp you would have to use bliz 4 after bliz 3 to reactivate enochian... Its bad enough we have to maintain astral fire to keep using fire 4. Just by taking the timer off of enochian would really bring BLM back to life. Lets say the devs do... BLM still wouldn't out dps melee's, BLM will always be at least 50 to 100 points behind the worst dps ranked melee class. Oh but what about mnk and drg having to deal with timers...ect... 1st off 3.0 mnk has a crap ton of skills to keep Greece up easily and they also got a skill to use up all those greece stacks as a slap and a tickle to the face for that extra satisfaction before greece would have fallen off anyway. So yea there is no comparison between Greece and Enochian not even close.

Sure its easy to maintain enochian most of the time...well sorta easy... but that's not the point the point is im tired of looking at a tiny stupid little icon on my screen to make so I know when to use bliz 3 + bliz4 to.... I'm also tired of the server lag after blizz 3 into bliz 4... same deal with fire 3 into fire 4.... the lag time is between 1 sec and 1.5 secs... well if you are running low on the timer to restart enochian and its about to fall off... that 1.5 secs lag time can make or break a blm's dps.... sure 2.0 rotation was a lot of fun in 2.x but I kinda need the big 3.0 nukes to ware down 3.0 mobs and bosses.... yes I have tested my connection with tracert...ect... I have 25 down and 2.5 up connection... I average between 250 to 350 ms to go from home to FFXIV servers... its not my end its ffxiv's end... granted I have to go through NYC to get to Canada but its not my fault they centralized all those connections there.

So yea the main reason I am giving up FFXIV is because of BRD and BLM's 3.0 crappy design..... There are 2 major things that keeps me playing a game... 1) content design (fun factor, mechanics...ect) and 2) battle classes (fun factor, ease of use, multiple ways to run rotations why still maintaining high numbers...ect) So far content is a snooze fest in 3.0 and BLM's and BRD's class design is utter garbage. So HW hasn't meant either standard.

Did I enjoy FFXIV? yea you bet back in 2.x... Do I enjoy the game now in HW?... no not even close.... Am I ticked off at SE? no but am I disappointed with devs and creator teams of FFXIV? yea you bet... this is a AAA mmo this shouldn't even be an issue...

Well the OP asked what we were doing during down time... I canceled my sub for the reasons above and now playing Onigiri till November 17th when SAO Lost Song drops.... :)

You'd be shocked at how many 'horrible' stories I've written...And read...And enjoyed despite the 'bad' premise. The Fire Emblem Awakening fandom, for instance, is home to a few surprisingly good self-insert fanfiction, good enough that it led to a wave of 'copycat' fics on FF.net (of variable quality).

And if it makes you feel any better, my own novelization (if I do it) will also inevitably include some romance between the PC and one of the NPC characters.

After years of owning a ps4 I finally bought my 1st game I wanted. Swordart Online, well the Nov. preorder which also gave the previous game for free. I love the anime I hope the game is decent.

Watching movies, resisting the urge to buy Zestiria on pc, thinking of playing my 3ds instead, or just going to sleep and waking up early so I can keep pounding out progress in this game

Played some AC unity, now I'm laying on my bed counting how many hours of maintenance there are left.. too many..:(

Ser Aymeric certainly has been popular in that way, lately. He might even be starting to rival Thancred on that count...

To be completely fair though, when I do include romance in my stories, I veer towards 'canon' pairings, or at least pairings with some kind of canon backing. In that sense, I have only thing I actively ship in FFXIV right now, and that's my PC character/the WoL with a certain NPC who had a subtle (not so subtle in the Japanese version) romantic crush on them. That's the romance I'd like to do in my novelization, if I get to that point.

That said, my original point stands. And even if it sucks, so what? You have to write buckets of crap before you can start writing anything good. I make a point to encourage potential writers to try following through on even 'bad' ideas for that reason. Menphina knows I churned out my fair share before starting to produce anything 'decent'...

Well was last night for me but spent 5 hours playing The Talos Principle.

Might replay a pokemon game or catch up on Persona Q, Who knows.

i also just finished my play through with life is strange... i just have to say WOW to that choice you make through each piece of the game.

before the update of episode 5. i was catching up on anime and other shows.

I tried Tera Online and Aura Kingdom.
They were both nice but I have no clue what the hell is going on in either of them, story-wise. XD
Might try Tera a little more. >w>
