Flower in a hair?

Did you pass along the growing complaints about the lack of male/masculine glamours? http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...uline-glamours.

The bias feels real addressing this but not the other.

Excuse me bumping an old thread, but this is something I've wanted forever. Do you know if the developers said yay or nay to this idea? Is it something they are going to work on? Flower head pieces would be a perfect reward for Sunbreeze or Little Ladies Day. Would they at least add a /visor option to the eternal bond veils to remove the lace if they won't be adding new items?

I've been wondering this as well, hopefully its coming in this patch :D

I also don't think it would be too hard to implement, but I'm not a developer so what do I know? lol

In the Liveletter they revealed that you can now alter the colours of potted flowers in your home depending on the soil composition and afterwards you can even pick the flowers and use them as a glamour, like so:

"Flowerpot Plants
Players can use their flowerpot to cultivate seeds, which will yield materials for gear as well as flowers for their estate flower vases. Oldrose seeds, which can only be cultivated in flowerpots, are available in eight color variations, and players will be able to influence the ratio of these colors and the total crop yield by using the following fertilizers:

Red Pomace: increases the frequency of red
Blue Pomace: increases the frequency of blue
Mountain Pomace: increases the frequency of yellow"

Could anybody explain for me exactly what this means please? I don't know whether to be happy or disappointed yet. lol

When it says the oldrose is available in eight colour variations does it mean.

a) There is one type of seed which can be adjusted to just eight colours? :(

b) Or that there are eight colours to start with and they can then be further adjusted to make more colours? For example plant a red seed that would begin as a dalamud red colour which could then be altered to a rose pink colour?

If it really is only 8 colours, well growing them in pot plants is a nice gimmick but I would have preferred just being able to dye the flowers instead...

It's probably a more organic process as with dyeing chocobos. There will be a base color (white maybe?) that you get with no pomace, then different colors based on what fertilizers you add, e.g. black should be an equal ratio of the 3 types. Rainbow roses are artificial in real life so those will be weird.
