I really can't afford to do it.... People already hates my little lala too much. (It's painful enough to see that after a match, you have the same damage taken than tanks )
Does using /wave and /hug to Twiss while being in different teams counts as teabagging? x'3

This was too good to pass up posting.
I do /laugh at somebody who deserves it. And there are lots of opportunities to do it when you're a healer.
I'm not sure I'd even recognize if a lala was tea bagging... They're too short to really pick them out in a crowd most of the time, let alone tell the difference in height if they pop a squat lol.
I dunno if waving and such counts, but I do that all the time. I once got into a Gesture mirror contest with a Mael. It was one of those moments when neither of you can attack because you know it would be an equally bad decision because of the 3rd GC sandwiching whoever moves first. I was at the top of the cliff point, and she was on the top of the fort just south of mid. Started out as awkwardly staring at one another, then waving, then dancing, then posing... just kept going until new node sets. Got a bunch of people standing around like idiots making gestures at one another in a war zone XD.
I used to get ./pet after getting killed on my lala ._."
I teabag BLMs that chain CC me after I chase them down and fell cleave their faces off. Nothing actually makes me madder lol
I will do this if someone goes out of their way to chase me down thinking they can get an easy kill because I'm a healer, and then I end up running right into a group of my fellow Maelstrom and they decimate - then I will.
It's especially amazing now that I'm back to lala, because you can actually shake your butt in their face when you /dance.
I'm beyond teabagging. I now pop fireworks over the corpse of the defeated. harmless fun.
I think people have tried to teabag me (or the equivalent) but my respawn window pops up over my body and I really cant see anything. I guess if it makes you happy, go for it, but I doubt the person being teabagged can see it.
I'm colour blind ;(
*cry*
I'm a chronic teabagger. I teabag to avenge the deaths of allies. I teabag the worthy adversaries I face in battle. But most of the time I find myself teabagging people because of their glamour.
No one is safe. I don't even need to have participated or seen the kill. I could just be riding my mount. Spot a dead body. Andteabag just because you were at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I've even teabagged my own teammates. Why? Because of GC restrictions. That's why.
Whenever someone comes over for a 1v1 you wanted, got and won. Whenever chasing led him/her to his doom without getting at least some sort of exchange. Jump jump! Nothing wrong with expressin your feels xD
I've gotten annoyed for the very few times it has happened to me or whenever I have seen teammates doing it to anyone else. It just makes my eyes roll. Whenever it happened to me I was just left wondering why it was that they even found it necessary; did they think I was honestly that upset that they managed to kill me? I don't even like excessive chasing for a measly kill. I'm quite content to run right by an enemy even if I know I can beat them in a 1v1 if I have more important things lying in the direction I was travelling. The only times I get caught out, far away from any allies are usually when I am caught between two GCs/in a narrow channel and need to take a really roundabout way to get back to safety... OR when I am trying to cover someone else's retreat(which usually doesn't end too well for me because they get stupidly cocky and don't just keep running like they should).
It's not the actual act that bothers me but moreso imagining the mentality behind why the felt it was necessary. I'm more likely to feel bad for someone I beat rather than boast some stupid:
"lololololol i got u gud" attitude.
I jump on people's faces when they decide to chase me. I had a DRK chasing me while I was an AST. Chased me right into my alliance and he popped living dead to not die. He did die though. I killed him with a well timed combust. I proceeded to jump all over his face because he wasn't smart.
^ 1v1 chase all the way to nmy spawn without even a CHANCE to achieve +5 -5, or anything productive. While leavin your team down
Maybe that is the perfect reason to teabag an enemy. You dont even provoke him and there is a "pretty much must do" situation elsewhere like stomping the 750 pts team which he simply ignores to do stupid things.Quote:

On my end its not a sign of bragging. Just a very drastic form of shakin my head in disbelief like "DUDE really, you thought THAT was in any form a good gameplan?"Quote:

With all that said, if anyone wants to do it to that person I used Cover, Clemency, Tetsudo and/or gave some extra room to with a Glory Slash - all in a desperate attempt to protect them from a hopeless 2v6+ scenario - while they just hung around and kept DPS'ing instead of retreating.... I probably won't complain even after you correct my stubborn naivety for clinging to the hope that maybe they'll still run away in the dying seconds by killing me too.
(Sorry, I wanted somewhere to rant about that particular situation because it happens stupidly often!)
I do it all the time. It's hard not to. Heck, I once knocked a dude off the middle in Secure, immediately jumped down after him to land on his corpse and continue to taunt him. I'm that committed to it.
Never done such a thing. But I often did bow to an fallen enemy after an interesting fight to show it was an honorable duel. I hope they took it as that and not as an insult.
I dont correct anything. I just teabag you for it ;p but yeah, him too if it helps. And while im doin so, summoner sneaks up with a burst
Oh yes it does, disengaging without a doubt is the hardest thing in pvp. As a bard i always think "ill at least give them covering fire while we fall back instead of just leggin it" just to see they stay in the unnecessary and lost fight. Boom we both/all die.Quote:

I played Halo, among other FPS games prior to playing FFXIV, and teabagging was well known in those communities so naturally it came to me.
I've only really done it twice in PvP, in one of the instances, I ended up incurring the wrath of that player's alliance.
Looking back on it, it's still funny as hell.
