Yeh i think some people need to work on they're anger management sometimes :P

I'm just tired of people making fire-and-brimstone topics about minor grievances with the game.

Calm yourselves and I might listen.

A minor grievance to you might be a fatal flaw to someone else. Not everyone plays for the same reason, or quits for the same reason. If a group of like minded players all quit for the same reason, it's more than a nitpick. Believe it or not, most of the conversation is pretty civil within the threads, as long as people are actually acknowledging each others' opinions. There can be heated moments, emotional backlash, but most people are just discussing what doesn't work for them in the game. It's not a torch-and-pitchfork witch hunt against SE, it's just players that are hoping to get something else out of the game.

If you're tired of reading the threads about people being tired of the game, stop reading them.

Able to handle? Well, this is where some of the community doesn't know how to make their shots count.

Some will say it's one of the easiest MMO made today, while others complained to nerf stuff like Pharos Sirius because it was too hard for the average casual type.

SE made that one hard in the first place because.. people cried that the game was too easy..

SE tries their best to get into the equilibrium of things.. but A community of humans.. won't change anyday, unless I'm into a different world.

Some are tired of the same old, nothing new, copy-paste with a little brilliance to cover-up. Works like a charm for the masses, while others will notice the same trend.. and would get bored with it.

We have the right to voice our ideas, that made 2.0 a big change over 1.0, and made SE some money.

Now, we still need to voice our happiness or digress, like it or not.

I love how some people take the criticism towards the game so personal, you could probably insult their mom or their baby and they wouldn't be as offended as saying that the game is getting boring due lack of novelty in the expansion. Especially people being like "I barely play or just not play the game but I disagree", that's probably the most hilarious to me.

You are right about handing things too easily. I am waiting for them to put all those horses on the Store, so I'll get my Kirin, without the hassle of getting into primal fiights with PuGs.

To those some who notice that repetitive trend that SE is somehow covering up, then why are they still hanging around? Leave the game alone until that shiny new patch that meet their expectations arrives instead of forcing themselves to playing it. Simple.

I for one appreciate to what SE brings to the table. They're doing the best they can.

All in all, no matter what SE do to make the game better, some players will never be satisfied. They expect too much.

Practice makes perfect. It's about patience and teamwork to get through a dungeon, raid, primal battle, etc. Can't tell some players who rages so quickly because the other don't learn/play in the same pace as they do. Help a player out, makes things better.

Expecting too much, I don't know. Expecting stuff to be different, then yes.

I am not one that plays Assassins Creed 1-2-3-4-5, would be the same for me.

Final Fantasy, even if it's 1-2-3 up to 15 soon, each have their own unique flavor. I've tasted some, liked a lot of them.

But to be blind and to cover SE, that they are not reusing the same old stuff, this is what gets to me.

If you like it, fine, lots of us don't.

To say leave the game alone, the game might turn F2P. I don't know for you, but that ain't what I'm paying for, and even if they are creating a cash shop for some esthetical stuff, it's scary.

They did their best from 1.0 to 2.0, from 2.0 to 3.0, nah.

We are sticking to this great game, with hope for 3.1 and up to 4.0, to see if the stuff they'll put into place will make us happy or content, or not. It shall be reflected upon the numbers of active subs.

You are right, no one is forcing to play a game. When it's free. When you pay, you expect the best for your bucks, and.. they don't deliver to a lot right now, speaking from friends that aren't on the forums.

They can insert repetitive quests (I know it sounds weird) that could replace doing Fates/dungeons/trials/lame side quests that we dont read but skip (Moogles, I want to burn their fur now >.< ) for us to level up Alts Jobs.. not talking about Leves here btw.

Giving more XP to the main scenario, and only do these, no more side quests, but with voice actors, because the story is 80% of this game easily.

They could make a way so players won't ragequit after 1 failed attempt (This scares the hell out of my GF, which is playing WHM for now, first time playing this game, she love it so far, but some PuGs are.. she's skipping cutscenes, she watches Vids because we are "catching up" to veterans or people who have seen the same dungeons for many, many days.. (it's a shame, she should be entitled to enjoy the cutscenes like we did when we started 2 years ago.. but no, people can rage are votekick her.. <- that's not fun at all.)

I Wish you keep up helping others, as I do, so at least we are 2 that can help making a difference (and I'm sure lots in here will find themselves in the same boat ;) )

The only people that know what they are doing is SE. Give them time to listen, think and develop something that could make the game satisfying to those who demand change. Have faith.

The way I see it, if you don't see that change happening within the upcoming patches, cancel your subscription so you won't lose anymore money. As long as whatever percentage of the community are enjoying themselves, SE should be okay.

So what you're telling me is that a subjectively "fatal flaw" to a game is worth throwing a temper tantrum on the forums, over-exaggerating the idea that the game will crash and burn and die if said "fatal flaw" isn't fixed? Because that hardly sounds mature.

And maybe it ultimately depends on the topic at hand, but there are a fair amount of topics in this forum that get really childish really quickly because of the subject matter. Not to derail, but a pretty good example of this is any thread even hinting at discussion about the cash shop. Very few people in a cash shop thread are receptive to any kind of reason.
