Your Favourite Ex Primal fight

1) Garuda Ex back when it was first released and was semi challenging
2) Shiva Ex
3) Titan Ex, this fight was so fun when you had a group of competent people

1) Chrysalis
2) bismark ex, and mostly because the rewards arent worth the effort for this fight, its way harder than ravana and doesnt even give a half decent reward >.>
3) steps of faith, avoid that like the plague cause of pugs >.<

Favorites:
1) Titan EX "BOW DOWN OVERDWELLERS!"
2) Shiva EX fun fight, fun mechanics great music
3) Leviathan pure blissful fun

Least Favorites:
1) Ramuh EX boring fight, mechanics that any pug at the time couldn't follow, so many wipes
2) Ifrit EX Ugh this guy was just a glorified version of his HM version not very tough
3) Mog EX Had a hell of a time clearing this one 2 groups, 8 hours just to clear it wasn't fun at all

Titan Ex with over 200 ms latency.

1-Ultima HM(should've been the true MSQ ending, wicked fight)
2-Shiva Ex (Phase 2 music alone makes this no. 2, and the fight was a challenge in 115s)
3-Leviathan Ex (Just plain old fun)
worthy mention- Singularity Reactor( please give us KOTR EX)

My least favourite:
Titan Ex(5 pronged LS-eff me right?)
Ramuh ex- (too easy also hate fighting over orbs with #loldrg)
Garuda ex("Don't kill Spiny plz" LolBlk-"Cue Fire II/Flare!" other 7 members ">.>...")

I don't really like any of the EX fights. Each EX fight creates a barrier that becomes increasingly difficult to break through with each passing week. Unless you do the fight close to its initial release, chances are slim at completing it. Even when the fights are new, sometimes they are so bad that people just get stuck. Getting through Titan EX when it first came out was hell on Earth, with most learning groups giving up before a clear could be accomplished. It took 40+ attempts to get my first Titan EX kill due to the constant revolving door of players. After that I just couldn't dedicate myself to doing them seriously ever again.

My favorite of the Extreme Primal fights is Ravana Extreme.

If I had to signal out the ones I just won't even try to do again after clearing is Bismark Extreme and Ramuh Extreme. Lots of terrible experiences on these.

Looking forward to what other Primals that might appear in the future. So far, these can be: Ixion, Crusader, Seraph, Maduin, Valigarmanda, Lakshmi, Ragnarok, Pandemona, Quetzalcoatl, Brothers, Eden, Griever and Ark.

I wonder if we will ever fight Zodiark face to face...

After getting through Titan EX (Took me about four months btw since i'm shit at that fight, doesn't matter what i do) My friends got a PF group together and carried me through it, because they are awesome. After that our static just did the rest of the EX primals in one afternoon (a "break" before we went to start on T9). Personally had no trouble with any of those fights (ofc never went into Titan again) But finding people to do them and even willing to help people who haven't cleared it, you just got to look... probably harder NOW but before HW came out there were pony farms left and right, even some who took some non-experienced people in.

2) Bismarck EX (Rewards suck, theme sucks, super easy)

Top three trials:
1. The Singularity Reactor. Holy crap this thing's a blast I like it so much, even if it's super easy; I'm looking forward to the Minstrel's Ballad version.
2. The Akh Afah Amplitheatre (Extreme). This fight just hits a really good mix of executional familiarity and spontaneity, and especially as a healer it was blast for just how much I could help a party recover.
3. Thornmarch (Extreme). It's a really chaotic fight for everyone involved, but that chaos keeps it interesting.


Bottom three:
3. The Striking Tree (Extreme). Let's just say farming this with a party of 60s today, effortlessly, was straight up cathartic after the crap I went through trying to farm it during relevance.
2. The Limitless Blue (Hard and Extreme). I dunno, I just... wasn't super thrilled with this fight. It feels like so much missed potential for interesting things, when in practice it's basically class competency checks...
1. A Relic Reborn: The Chimera. It's just... really not interesting, even though there's theoretically stuff going on, but they got overgeared so fast that it's really just a tank and spank (and not even an introduction to 8-mans like Westwind)

hands down
All time fav was Ifrit EX

and the only reason is because Ifrit controlled the pace of the battle
players couldn't speed through nails because of the dmg buff.
Healers had to watch what they were doing
DPS HAD to stop and move properly
Love Ifrit and every thing about his fight.

All time Hate is Titan EX
for every player who got landslided
for every player who got gaoled too close to the other gaol
for every player who got lagged out and died to plumes
for every player who got too many debuff stacks and died
for every player who got tunnel vision and forgot to do SOMETHING important.

Screw titan EX but only because of all the players who made him hard.
