I wish they were. My biggest hope is for a complete overhaul to the party system in 4.0, that gives us a 5 man setup. Tank/Heal/2DPS/Support. That way, BRD/MCH and any of the other support classes FF has, can be their own role, and we can cut out this nonsense of "X won't work because support!"

hm.....a healing song? like Hot? no....the other Healers are good enough.....

I'd prefer not. I prefer a support-light game. When you have a support class you have to rebalance to make needed and to make then significant and for 8 mans that could be a big disadvantage if you don't. For 4 man content then it's over powered.

I like the idea of a healing song. Our damage would have to be nerfed, pretty dramatically, if it was up... but I've been in quite a few fights where the healer dies close to the end, but not enough for the rest of us to survive and kill the boss. A healing song that could be used in a pinch situation like that would be pretty awesome.

Not to mention that in XI the Paeon series of spells were HP regen - I feel like this would be so much more useful than the currently terrible (like strongly vying for the worst 3.0 skill) Warden's Paeon.
