Same here. But its not like many gatherers can be bothered to farm them in the first place, despite them being worth millions.

That's right. They'd need to gather favor items for their own upgrades.
I believe that the i180 non-crafted gear provides a bigger base boost than accessories (mostly GP upgrades if unmelded I think), so I'd get those first myself if I were a gatherer. If the gatherer is also a crafter, they can gather favor items for a while, but only so they can craft their own gear (especially the offhand), not to sell. All of the gatherers that I know are going for the i180 gear first.
Gatherers who cannot craft will have to find a crafter however.
It doesn't really make sense for gatherers to sell favor items prior to getting the i180s unless the gil reward is significant enough or they have very little gil savings themselves.
1) *developers
2) does that mean you need a spelling lesson?
3) it's not the developers that need the lesson, but the Japanese -> English translators.
4) English and Math are also separate languages, so I wouldn't expect a Japanese and English language expert (they would have to be an expert in both to be able to translate, wouldn't they?) to also be a Math expert.
5) I don't know if you've done it yourself, but translating can be intense work. A little slip up like that is easy to make when you just got done translating a paragraph from one language into another language that doesn't have the same linguistic roots.
I was happy with the change. I was able to get 80 ooids in less than 2 hours of farming :D and here I was worried that I was going to run out of things to watch before I finished my favor grind ...
I'd prefer a cash shop instead of making new glamour items ridiculously expensive ingame.
This made me LOL in real life.
Both the Japanese -> English and Math skills required for this particular translation are basic. I'm bad at both, I can do it perfectly fine.
Well, maybe the English requirement is advanced, I can't really tell.
I do it a lot actually. A downside of not being able to read a language fluently is that you are forced to spend time translating it, as strange as it may sound.
Not to mention since I normally care little about proper grammar I often phrase things in ways that should not be used in 'this' language.
However, the only reason the error is in the patchnotes to begin with is because for some reason the translator decided to rephrase, instead of providing a direct translation.
Direct translation would have been ''tripled'' which is a 100% accurate translation, and doesnt serve to confuse anyone that isnt fluent in English. (as was apparently the case)
Since we have other sources its just semantics at this point to argue this.
However such things are easily avoided if you focus on direct translation, rather then the way you bring it. Especially for patchnotes.
On topic:
Favor materials are faster to obtain now, but ultimately still capped. Prices are still very high. Unknown if enough people will start doing them so they're atleast steadily available regardless of pricing.
The system is bad as everyone know but OP's reason is so poor, you are basically saying they need to nerf A4S now cuz everyone want that mount NOW.
They will nerf both (A4S and this sh1t favor) and you will get them one day (faster than never).
