I hope you mean SCH dps + SCH buffs. Wouldn't be accurate to discount a part of SCH when comparing the two.

Thing is, CDs are a significant portion of healing. The discussion of how well any of these classes can heal needs to include said CDs. At the very least it needs to include the shorter ones. So no, healing is not on par either.

I would like to propose a healer forum drinking game where we all take a shot whenever Vlady successfully contradicts himself at least once within the same paragraph...but I wouldn't want to be responsible for the alcohol poisoning that would ensue, so let's not.

As far as AST card DPS vs. SCH DPS, you've been provided the answer already if you've been following the forums. Beyond that, I would suggest thinking for a moment about the very best possible scenario for AST increasing raid DPS (choose an arbitrary total raid DPS like 6000), then taking that theoretical increase and comparing it to what DPS a SCH a needs to provide to exceed that increase on their own (not even factoring in Selene for the raid).

After you do that, consider the probability of AST achieving 100% uptime on this ideal scenario and adjust accordingly. Also consider that AST's personal DPS is less potent, far less sustainable, and more difficult to weave in with required healing than that of SCH.

In short, this question pretty much answers itself for you if you stop and think about it.

Well looks like im going to get Very Very drunk quickly Vlady is just a plague that u cannot get rid of best just to ignore all comments he makes on the forums tbh and dont interact with him at all and just let him burn alone :D

Just some random bullet points from my experiences as Astrologian so far (lv56 as of this post):

- Instant Benefic II proc is only good when I can't keep up. Too many times I will either not use the proc or just do nothing until the tank takes another hit. Maybe make it cost only 50% MP?
- Lightspeed is still rather weak despite its recent buff. It's basically just another Swiftcast due to how global cooldowns work. If it also reduced global cooldown, then the skill would be good IMO.
- Synastry is awkward to use. For it to be a good skill, the tank needs to take only medium damage over a longer period of time while the rest of the group takes more damage than the tank, which rarely is the case for me.
- Please give Astrologian access to Stoneskin II. My groups don't like waiting for me to apply Stoneskin to everyone before a boss encounter.
- Astrologian could use another DPS skill. Spamming Malefic with occasional Combust can get really tiresome. A damaging skill that also has some party utility or heal effect would be nice!
- Helios and Aspected Helios range is a bit small, Helios potency seems a bit too weak to me for its cast time. The same seems true for Aspected Helios in Nocturnal Sect.
- Cards: The Spire and The Spear I almost never use for their effects. They are mostly used by me as Royal Road fodder or will get shuffled if I draw them.
- Time Dilation doesn't synergize well with Nocturnal Sect, since prolonging the shields doesn't add more efficiency to the affected spells like longer Regen does for Diurnal Sect. The shields should be made stronger from Time Dilation instead IMO.

Since I don't have Collective Unconscious and Celestial Opposition yet, I will leave those skills out and maybe edit my post later, once I have experience with those abilities. Thanks for reading.

It boggles the mind as to what image you are trying to create here. It's pretty clear you're in serious denial or just refuse to admit AST cannot compare to SCH and WHM, yet, regardless of how many times you are shot down and proven wrong, you still continue this. Are you alright? do you need some medication? IF you have sought to create an image you were successful, and it's not a good one.

The Spire is useful if it's a long battle and the boss is still up and kicking, or whenever physical dps are trying to aoe the trash mobs.

I wish i could see tp of party members.
I have never played physical dps so i have no clue how the tp regen actually is.
