Thumbs Up to Yoshida if you had so much fun you lost track of time.

I too ended up going to bed at 2AM and Yoshi and the Devs, I thank you for this. Not really the late time but the fact I was having SOOO MUCH FUN, I didn't CARE what time it was! xD

As for work, well, I woke up with a raging migraine so...I called out. :( Now, back in game and finishing my quests for Chocobo! :p

P.S. Yes Yoshisan; I will be back at work tomorrow. :D

I lost like every caravan run I was doing but it was hilariously fun. I enjoyed it so much I kept doing it...and doing it and doing it. Good stuff.

Yep, got WIFE AGRO... 4AM for me.

I am seriously impressed by this game now.

It actually feels like a legitimate MMO.
All we need now are the final changes to the battle system with the jobs, the world redesign, and more content for the groundwork they've laid out.

My adrenaline levels are so high right now. I have barely logged in, and I already feel this patch was the best in a very long time. Really great work SE, this is just awesomeness.

I luvs this patch :) Feels like there's so much to do! I'm trying desperately hard to finish quests for my chocobo, but keep remembering I have important work type stuff to do ;_;

I enjoyed myself, was great to have things to do other than grinding! haha :D I love to quest!

I cried a little when my 20THM had only 361hp, even with 100 needles added on Cactuars, I was getting eaten on leves, but it was fun and a challenge >:3

I am finding soloing a little more difficult, but all-in-all it's a really nice patch and I'm really looking forward to future updates!

Im not always going say game is great or terrible but this patch is a very good start to turning the game around, i only hope that people that went away from it give it another chance now and hope game keeps going in this direction.

FFXIV still has a long way to go before I'll consider it on par with other modern MMOs, but I do have to say that this patch is definitely a big step in the right direction. Keep this up, and it won't be long before FFXIV is good enough for the PS3 release! :D

Pft.. I stayed up for the patch to have an hour-ish before bed (I'm in England).
I ended up going to work a 10am with no sleep, after having got up at 8am on the 4th (>.<)

Still not a fan of everything but the GC quests were Epic, And making me meet each leader made my derision to go with Adders feel 100% right..
Escorts are fun, mob placement is sooo much better from what I've seen..

An It might be 6am but I'm off to try meet Ifrit now.

I'll admit, the longest time i've ever spent on FFXIV was on this patch, i'm really loving it.

Another day I went to bed at 3am yesterday D: But damn I'm having fun.

First time I have this feeling I want to log back in as soon as possible after extended play session on FFXIV.

Caravan transport is like so addicting...especially solo. I've been playing it nonstop. It's like a mini game like defend the tower where you place guns along the path to try to block the ever changing mobs. However, here you are the defender against the mobs and the object you defending is moving. I literally played it until I passed out in the middle of a transport actually LOL.

Definetly hats of to the development team on this one! I came back after months of waiting for the monster patch. I couldnt have been more pleased. Im not sure why some people are griping over the slower leveling in the beginning but I for one think it helps build knowledge of your class and how it works for later on.

I had a lot of fun playing yesterday even despite a fair number of deaths and if I didnt have class today Id be playing right now!

As a new player (which everyone seems to be griping about) I am HAPPY that it is easy to switch between classes now without the point allotment problem. My hubby wants me to level with him so it's nice that I can work on other things with more ease while he's not available to play! So anxious to move forward with the lvl 20 quests though.... needs to get his booty on here!!

I still haven't been able to so much as touch the game thanks to work, classes and now mega-homework all weekend! Plus, Zombie Pub Crawl!

Relatively new player here~

I created my character like a month after the game came out. I played it off and on, trying to get a feel of things, never got my physical level to 10 because I barely played, my highest class is my lv10 LNC. Too bad my husband can't play with me at the same time... :( I know we'll be able to when the PS3 version comes out.

Lately I've played much more often and I want to keep playing (even though I'm generally.. stuck in XI lol). Great patch SE! ^^ I knew it was going to be huge (longer than 1.18) when I read all the update notes/letters. :)

I gotta say this is the first patch for me that took the game in the right direction.
I admit I'm a pretty big hater and found the game boring and clunky at first and really dint find anything interesting about patches before this one.
However, I've played probably 10 hours in the past 2 days and I have to say it was fun. Stronghold exp was nice, cutscenes were cool, finally some new gear (still lots of reskins, especially that mage body SE come on...), and transportation is soooo much faster.
Now if we had regional chat, etc and non retarded party LFG system it would be golden. Still going to hold up from lvling new classes till jobs come out because I want to experience the game as a whole from lvl 1 but I'm getting optimistic.

Patch downloaded in about an hr but I didn't get on until 9:45. Was blown away and felt like a new game. Haven't had this much goin to date and I'm one of the few that loved the game despite its flaws. Fantastic job SE now about this bug with the skill Invigorate draining hp and mp. Is this working as intended?

... I've been having so much fun that when I realize the time my BF is getting up to go to work.... ^^;
