pretty much this. Plus the ascians look like more textured versions of Organization XIII. I literally LOL'd when I first saw them back in 2.0 days thinking that "damn SE is running out of ideas for bad guys cuz all we got was hooded robes and shadows" But they can just as easily make it a $1.99 USD cash shop thing without an event though I would prefer an event.

The Dark knight "kingdom hearts" sword is avaible in the Gold Saucer.

Except that won't work, since Kingdom Hearts has Final Fantasy characters (who "grew up" on the KH worlds as children) in it. That alone pretty much removes Kingdom Hearts from the Final Fantasy universe (especially because of Zack, Aerith and Vivi. Hell, even Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, Yuna, Paine and Rikku assist in removing KH from the FF universe).
