wow i was PISSED OFF about my ARC becoming bard but holy crap that gear looks awesome. Warrior looks awesome. I am thinking Yoshi can do no wrong...

I know what you mean! I actually thought it was the quiver pictured in the bow-harp picture... but it is clearly much longer and slimmer. Very interesting!

Pft, The Bard looks epic but I was hoping for Ranger or something. A specialized class that uses a bow.

Does this mean that we won't be using archers in a party setup? I mean, I know we could use a class in a party instead of a job, but jobs are designed for party use right?

Gladiator >>> Paladin
Pugilist >>> Monk
Lancer >>> Dragoon
Marauder >>> Warrior
Archer >>> ????

Archer could possibly be Bard, but this was actually never confirmed. Although the Bowharp does make it a really strong case.

But here's hoping that Bard comes from a DoL/H (Support) and that the unannounced job is Ranger!!! I miss Sidewinders.

Nobody's sticking a gun to your head and saying you NEED to use a job in a party situation. All experience you gain goes to your class anway. Jobs are just like a shell or a coat(or a hat) that you wear over your class. Archer was pretty much straight DPS anyway. Not many people would use it as a tank or support, so you're fine if you just stick with Archer. If you want to do DPS(reduced) AND support, then you don your "Bard Hat."

The unannounced class was Warrior, seeing how it was never "officially announced", just unofficially mentioned through hypothetical examples and that Famitsu cover concept art, which they forget we saw a week before the official announcement. Funny how language and translations work.

The thing in the bards hand is a flute, its pretty obvious if you look close. So maybe they are going to use a bow and instruments?
