Zalera is mostly a dead server, sorry to say.
If you're not invested in friends/FC I suggest transferring somewhere else.

That's why they call it "Idle"shire.

I socialize more in DF than my FC at times(where often I feel as though I'm talking to myself). Famfrit is only vocal when it comes to PF and hunts.

Theres quite a few who talks in shout in Adamantoise.

I personally don't mind people not talking.

Usually, and this is just in my experience with the tons of other Mmorpg's out there I've played, it's all a buncha stupid chatter. Yes, I get joking around and all that is great, but do it in a Free Company, I'd rather not see the chat box littered with garbage nonsense anyways, especially when people use "Shout" and "Global" chat that actually require assistance with something. The whole mindless clutter of what again, is usually nothing but toxicity, racism etc, etc, makes it almost impossible to use the actual "Shout/Global" chat as it was properly intended to be used.

If you're looking for random chatting/clucking, join one of the many Free Companies out there, or even Linkshells, people are more than happy to talk. I for one am glad to see an mmorpg that has a decent Chat Box.

People stopped saying Hi in dungeons.
My last three runs i was the only one saying Hi

Agree with this. I see a lot of fun chatter in Adamantoise. Helpfulness and Nonsense kind of seem to go hand-in-hand on this server.
