It will probably require a full party to enter.

I'm expecting alot of mch/brd auto kicks in pugs, (mostly mch but the odd brd aswell :(

They said they won't be making changes until alex has been out for a while, sorry to tell ya SE but support classes brd/mch can't pass dps checks and the support they bring, again, doesn't pass dps checks (even kicking in bizmark hard not ex).

Those are my only worries otherwise I think it's going to be great.

That sounds like people being just idiots overreacting rather than anything based on reality, one day when bismarck HM came up in roulette we had 2 bards and one machinist and there were no problems. Also I can't imagine that having 2 bards/machinists would hurt you to such an extent that you can't pass a dps check.

So because you managed a relatively easy dps check with some mchs, they don't seem to have a lack of dps to you right?, I think parsers and the huge thread on mch would like a word with you.

I'm sorry, that was in no-way a good dark knight - not unless he was purposefully taking his time. Which makes me go crazy!!! No wonder people think the Dark Knight is in a "bad position".

I'd say we are in a pretty good one....

i wash for all bards and mechanists a pleasant 3.01 ,although i am wonder what do we get beside the raid ?

I really wish SE could move past this whole Bard having lesser dmg output than other DPS based off its support abilities. They gave many other dps jobs support abilities w/ 3.0 that in my opinion add to the party just as much if not more than Foe or Mage's Ballad. Bard doesnt have much in the way of buffing DPS types (beyond refreshing TP at the cost of our own damage output), but some of the new support abilities from other classes make me jealous :P

Battle Litany for example (which sounds like a song to me...) is awesome as hell (and doesnt reduce the DRG's dmg to give to the party), and I wish Bard got it. Then I wouldn't even bat an eye at the fact that our dmg is always lesser :P

Anyways, regardless of abilities, I echo the sentiments of fellow bards and machinists. We'll likely get kicked from party because we just cant make dps checks in our current state.

And Astro will be excluded because people dont understand the role. THey dont understand the support role they play and because the heals they put out are less than that of a sch or whm. Plus or Nocturnal sect is completely useless.If you re not part of a static, and are a Astro, Machinest, or DK most likely randoms who think they are hardcore will want to run a "safe"party and will exclude you. However a good astro can keep up a a tank just fine, its the players who qq because they cant "stand in crap" take a vunlerabilty debuff to maintain their precious rotation then complain when a "support" healer cant burst heal them with multiple stacks of vulnerability. An astro requires people to not eat aoe, to follow mechanics, if you do that, the party will be rewarded with buffs and overall minor dps increases and cooldown/resource management help.

Pretty much this statement, people NEED to learn to GET AWAY from AOE, especially when it is telegraphed RIGH IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.... Does not matter what kind of a healer you have, if you get 2-3 or more vulnerability debuff, it is GAME OVER sherlock! Your healer won't be able to keep up, and soon run out of mana, more so when your two melee DPS and tank can't seem to move out of AOE.

mechanic is strong, from what yoshida said people are just too bad at playing them/didnt figure out correct rotations

they wont buff him because he would be too op then
