and there's no proof that it's corrected.
And there's no proof iits a bug.
"Accepted" on bug report forum just means the format was correct. Nothing more.
You're just bent that a gear set you like iisnt yours.
I'm the person who submitted it in the first place. Honestly I like the current one (as you can see in my avatar I'm wearing it) but I also like the black/blue one. I just felt it should be reported because it did seem like a bug after seeing the concept art. If it's a bug and they fix it, great. If it's not a bug and they intentionally changed it, that's fine too.
It is a bug.
stop going against logic just because you want other job's equipment.
I think you need a hug. Would you like a hug?
Concept designs are concepts for a reason. Doesn't mean it is always going to be the finished product. I like both tunics. Though I don't see the reason to change this now. It is not really a bug more like a change in design. I don't remember when Yoshi showed the picture for the tunic. However, it could of been drawn as an idea in game. But was already changed. But who knows, besides the dev team.
Now here is another thing they could do, which they have done several times in the past. Make it as a new crafted and dyeble gear piece. If people are so bent on the color schemes. They can use that.
These gears are based on Tactics Ogre outfits. It is a fan service for TO fans and an allusion to the game so it makes more sense to make them look like the original.
no reason to swap them.
Does everything have to be about fan service? That is what everyone is wanting for FFXIV to be. How about we let the game continue to be itself and the gear be unique and not exactly like something else from a previous games?
Do you even read the thread titles in the "Accepted Bugs" forum? While there are quite a few that are indeed bugs that should be looked at, there are also quite a few that are downright silly. That one of two submitted bug reports was accepted does not mean 100% that it is a bug, especially if the other was flagged "Not a Bug."
In all likelihood, the palettes were swapped later to better match the coloration of the weapons, especially the purple and red of Gjallarhorn, the level 55 MCH weapon that drops from the same dungeon.
I want a word from the officials if it's going to get fixed or not.
It's a bug and they have to fix it.
I'm not trolling. It's so obvious that Bard gears are colorful and Ninja gears are dark. people just trying to make excuses to steal equipment from other jobs.
Is there some official rule I'm not aware of that all BRD gear should be colorful and NIN gear dark ? No there isn't. No one isn't stealing anything from anyone either. They probably just made the decision to give BRD/MCH the darker version of the gear, that's all. If you wanna wear the darker version of it so bad, level a BRD or MCH, but if you are not willing to level either of them, then you will have to settle with the green one.
Meh I'd like to wear the light version of that on my bard.
any news on this bug?
takes too long to fix this bug.
FYI the Bogatyr bard set was black. And the ninja set was colorful. So there is a precedent for this assignment of color scheme.
