is anyone else unable to connect to lobby server?

Same on Balmung. 90k then 5 x 2002

Managed to get on long enough to fantasia my character atleast. Plus it fixed my Mogstation issue.

On balmung here, same problem. I think the whole Aether data center bit it. I can connect to Primal just fine.

Aether is down with 2002's for me too...interestingly the other NA data center was giving me a 5006 error instead. But if you look at this and the other thread on it, this started right at launch at 5 am EDT, then it was fixed, and now at 4 pm it started again. I can't help but think it's volume from people who had to work today.

So is everyone getting this error? Did we break everything?

I can't enter either to my server by 2002 error, really SE must preview this with their expansion and put new servers, and free character transfer if your current server is so full by expansion. We pay 10Eu/Do each mounth for play and now 40$/Eu for heavensward, so i guess we must have a quality service from SE

I will sit patiently and listen to the awesome title screen music :>

It is launch week my friend. Must expect some bugs/crashes while they work out the kinks ^_^ Every MMO has this phase right after a launch.

Balmung is down for me too, mostly errors 2002 but some 5006 too!

same here, was kicked about 15 mins ago and non stop 2002 since then, can log onto other data centers just not the one where my main character is

I don't think this is a world server error, specifically. The error is coming from logging into the data center, it's not even getting to the world servers. It could be network congestion, or the network hardware can't handle the load, or the authentication servers went down...there's a lot more to a data center than just Zodiark, or Balmung, or what have you.

Same here on Gilgamesh. Can not for the life of me get back in.. Really frustrating.

Crashed and Locked. So close to lvl 52 too.

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't kick me off the launcher. I hate logging in over and over.

I really really wish they'd change that. Would be nice if they'd just give you a "retry" option on the title screen..
