Balmung here. Also missing two of my other characters according to this game. I'm sure the devs are working on it though, but it's pretty depressing.

balmung same error. probably gonna give up trying to get on till they've got the servers stable enough to queue you for a half an hour before you get in.

It's not really a matter of "learning." It's practically impossible to know exactly what kind of strain we'll put the servers under, especially without a stress test before this release. Chances are, all of us trying to log in at the same time killed our servers' login or something, and now the worlds are trying to cope with it. Balmung as well, here, and think we killed it, guys.

Kinda sucks even with the instanced implementation for congested servers people can't get in.

Well then...Not sure how long this means those of us on these unfortunate servers will be out of luck. I have tomorrow and Saturday to enjoy EA. My patience has its limits. XD.

Ok so I can connect to my Faerie character but not Balmung... interesting.

Well, I got into a queue for a minute or two... then 1014'd out again and now my character selection is once again not loading. Why do you toy with my emotions like this, SE? *quiet weeping*

They've already already acknowledged the issue. This means they are looking into it, and probably did a server reboot or cut off access temporarily to do a diagnostics.

Standard procedure for any server during a major release. Just breathe.

Yeah that....yeah. It does. I think all the ones that popped up on their announcement with the cause 'under investigation' are the exact ones they put the instanced stuff in.

That probably has nothing to do with the current issue. We're killing the login and/or lobby servers, not the servers hosting zone instances.

It's only affecting certain servers. Like I have characters created in multiple data centers just to check and only the one I have on Excalibur was 1014'd, The one on another server in Primal was fine... but now can't get into the Primal lobby, so *shrug*

Nope, not Behemoth. I was actually surprised we didn't get the instanced stuff here but there you have it. Unrelated to instancing. I actually thought maybe if we were instanced this would be resolved but apparently not.

XD Darn. Probably all just population then. Which is unfortunate because god knows what can be done about that.

At what point are they going to fix the client crashing when you get a lobby error, so you don't have to keep restarting it and retyping a one-time password every time you think the server might be back up? /at3yearsnow

This is going to take some time since it's "Under investigation."

I got into Balmung for about 3 seconds then back to the lobby error nonsense.

Seems my entire FC got kicked off Cerberus, with the world data error (1014)

I know a few people who got in for short periods of time but yeah...not consistently. I can't even get past the lobby errors right now. I really just wanted to log on to fantasia but god if its this hard to get on once I can't imagine trying to use a fantasia.

I finished Tam Tara HM and got 20% EXP then got hit by 1014 :(

A part of me says sleep...the other part says its only going to get worse once the people who were not willing to lose sleep and sanity wake up. Also does it frustrate the crap out of anyone else that the launcher closes when you get the lobby error? XD
