Wow this devolved into a weeaboo hate thread.
Good.
Tanking, mostly. I'm low level pally. Those instances without shield oath while the summoner aoes dots....
New,
I call Au Ra lizard people, but others prefer dragons, demons, succubus, and vampires.....
People sending me hate /tells because they were selling machinist weapons for 60k and up for HQ and I spammed market with same HQ for 20k and lower.
People who were once Miqo'tes and switched to Au Ra with cat or wolf still in their name.
Public /shout roleplaying increase after update
Idiotic oversized gif signatures.
Keep in mind that I only just finished the questlines for 2.5 and I'm about to start Heavensward. Actually scratch that, my mom killed the power before the final cutscene ended... but I saw most of it on Youtube so meh.
Minfillia's voice acting can sometimes be annoying I guess and pulls me out of the immersion in the game. It generally sounds like someone who's just reading off the script with little to no understanding of the gravity of the situation. Also the lack of backstory or really much of anything for the individual Scions. I mean I'm sure there was stuff for them before 2.0, but I'm a mere 2.0 player. Never got to play 1.0 due to being jobless myself. Yeah I know what their personalities are, I like their voices, but there's nothing that truly makes them stand out or make them more than 2 dimensional IMO. They're just kind of... there.
Big spoiler here:
(Welp, in this forum sit spoiler tags don't work... how do I hide spoilers?? I know I've seen people do it.)
Also I am not a fan of how they mourned the death of... I forgot her name -- the scholar with the axe who figured out how to trap an ascian and ultimately sacrificed her life to save ours. The only character who seemed to really mourn her death was the guy who seems to believe he's part of a Shakespeare play or something. They all had the exact same way of expressing their grief aside from him. I did like that, Papalymo said himself that for once he had nothing to say to Yda though. But otherwise, everyone just seemed to be kinda down about it and then they got over it sorta quickly. With how childish Yda generally acts, and especially when she was particularly close to this character with a long history, I expected her to break down and start sobbing at least once. But it didn't take long for her to get over it and right before the banquet, when I thought her animation indicated she was crying, she was actually laughing. It was as if the death wasn't really all that big of a deal.
So did not look forward to MSQs where I HAD to finish gaining my lvl to do it :/(curse you lvl 53 MSQ but only half way to lvl 53 ><)
Cringers. Cringers make me cringe. And God help me if I cringe in front of a mirror.
There is a general sense of "Angst? What angst?" in this game though. It's like how Thancred never suffered any ill effects over what happened to him either, he seems to consider it a minor embarrassment when it's mentioned at all.
Still more story than the average MMO though.
Healers not DPSing and afking 80% of the fight.
Community suggestions to fixing server related problems.
In-game? FF related names, FF related costumes and hairstyles and the constant use of "^^" in the chat. These things usually go hand in hand.
Not a fan of having group content for the MSQ. I get this is an MMO and parties are a big part of the game/experience; but relying on others to level up and finish the story is/was not very fun.
When i get an itch in between my toes. Frustrating.
People who complain how annoying it is that they have to do quests for certain rewards in this game. Literally the whole game is built on unlocking stuff since level 1 and still they complain.
These forums.

I think what makes me cringe the most on the forums are the people who take criticism or different opinions about the community or game as personal insults and feel like it's their duty to defend the game or Square Enix.
Like I've seen so many posts where people make legitimate complaints and you have the same bunch of people say "not going to happen" or "go play somewhere else". Is this attitude something we're okay with as a community? Honestly, it strikes me as rude, obnoxious, and really immature. It's pretty similar to some of the attitudes on Reddit, so maybe there's a link...
That red glow that DRKs have. Turn that shit off in town!
Furries.

People with an obvious Japan fetish sperging about glorious nippon and samurai swords and stuff make me cringe.
Public ERP complete with weird custom emote spam, always cats, always makes me cringe.
Last night an astro...I draw a card se.5........the card I am holding "card" followed by its detailed description of use se.5
Every.....single...fecking......time........
Minfilia and most of the story scenarios are cringe worthy.
Also, pirate talk.
Minor story spoilers
The new Ala Mhigan faux Yorkshire accent.
"Aye lass, it's a bloody disgrace."
What makes me cringe? Necro'ing threads and irony.
FFXIV players.
The anti-sundering / anti-hydaelyn people who think she's wrong when the game made it clear that if she had not sundered the star, it would lead to depression, nihilism and eventually doom.
The recently returned homeworld transfer system already being down again with no word as to why.
Res Macros and any Macro that involves putting cheesy Text into any Skill.
The Buff Symbol on the Partymenu, as well as the Castbar and Battlelog already tell People that youre using Skill X.
Thread necromancers, players with japanese names when they are not japanese, players who have chosen Lalafell as race, players who have strange costumes like the elephant or chicken thing equipped, very often a switch between voice acted and non-voice acted cutscenes. And there more things i find cringe. :3
Cheers
