PS4 patches downloads?

Its because Heavensward isnt link yet to your account. At first launch after maintenance you will be prompt to do so.

Dont worry, Mogstation know that you buy it, just dont know which account it is for. :D

When I first launched this morning it started download of abut 5gb. When that it ended it closed out and then relaunched with a new menu confirming which service to link heavenward with, then proceeded to downloadanther 3gb file. For psn preorder

Out of curiosity, when you press Option on the HW icon and then information, what's the total size of the game for you?

8GB for Digital? That's weird. Everyone who preordered the physical preorder version had 5.7GB. So confusing. D;

I have the same service list but I only downloaded the 1.7 gb launcher + the 3.7 gb patch. This is really confusing.

this is getting confusing... i hope admin will response to this problem... those who bought via PSN store and those who didnt (entered the redeem code)....

39.97gb. Version 2.97. The actual patch downloads were guesstamites lol. And ti answer the question about what the launcher looks like for my account now, it no longer days ARR:

He edited his post on the previous page, it does show the Heavensward logo.. This is really weird lol

Read elsewhere that if you activate the add on it gives you the extra 2 GB patch. Not sure if that's true, but mine's locked behind the timer atm.

For now all we can do is wait, if things doesn't change once the timer runs out then yeah...we can all report here.

I am just assuming that HW 8 gig will start downloading at 10 pm MNT since that is what the store is telling me.

When you look at your 1.7gb add-on located under related items. Is it showing that is installed? I'm just throwing ideas out the now :s. Anywho I wouldn't worry about what Mogstation shows. It also has me as only having ARR and no mention of early Access

It only shows the 1.7gb thing that has a few hours left on it so i think thats the solution, the 1.7gb isn't downloaded yet, and will be once the timer runs out completely. I just verified what was installed for me yesterday, and these were "add-ons" im guessing its the CE bonus items.

So my app changed but the login screen didn't.

As far as I remember since the instruction aren't available in lodestone due to maintenance, all we console players had to do was to purchase the preorder and download that initial file when it came up and we're set to go:

I had to wait til the 1.7gb was downloaded, then i started the client and the logo was Heavensward + started to download 2gb. I downloaded the other 3.7gb earlyer since i had to wait for psn to update :)

1. the initial Boot system took about 10 minutes to launch (usually 5-10 seconds).
2. License agreement to register game.
3. enter username and password
4. pre-install first time installing. (about 11MB although not sure wasn't looking)
5.Downloading ffxiv - 2015.05.13.000.0002 (5744.05MB)

two things, i am so sorry about that download time, and it is just like what kori said. we all were able to download the add on, but we cant install it. EU has a different one(by name and function) so EU is set. just gotta wait out the time left.

i had 1 patch b4 HW was available to me then another after i purchased and downloaded ;/

I would like to point out that I got the special EU version. The "Early Purchase" one that they gave us since we EU users couldn't get it digital Pre order via PSN in time

Right on you speak the exact truth on what is going on. Hope now everyone understands the diff between sony files and what se delivers.

19mins to go before the timer goes off and i hope we can download the remaining...

The timer is now over with, i had to accept new terms and now its downloading a 2GB patch! I also have the HW logo so all is well. :)

Countdown is over and since we're now able to actually use the HW add on, the HW logo has been made available in-client and I got new Terms to accept, logged in and the final patch is finally downloading.

Download is up yippe ^_^

Glad i decided to stay up and see if there would be another patch.

What I downloaded was 3.5 gigs and it changed the logo to the Heavensward logo. I have the Digital CE from the Sony store with EA but for some reason it shows that I can download the game but it says

anyone have this problem? I'm assuming its because the servers don't go live till 2 am PDT but I was hoping to have the game fully installed so I can just jump right in. Unless that 3.5 gig I downloaded was the game which I highly doubt.
