FFXIV Confessions

I confess that I-
Sometimes complain about the general level of player skill during Tower instances to myself and my ls friends, then die stupidly in an instance because I've become bored and complacent and wasn't paying attention.... (C'mon, admit it, we all do this every now and then, right?)

I have a Man-kini that I keep in my inv at all times, just so I can quickly and randomly hammock up and gross out everyone nearby. That's probably not normal behavior, I know. I have no defense for this.

I did all the moogle delivery quests... by traveling with my chocobo, with no mini-map (got lost a few times)... and did all the FATEs I found on my way, tho and fro. This is how I got my Yoshimitsu Nexus lights farmed. (yup, 1k FATEs)

I've used FFXIV as a medium to obtain nude pics of various men. No shame.

I admit... that I'm the person that overcuts your undercut and actually sells their stuff while yours sits and sits and sits ;)

-My screenshot folder is also huge :| Usually scenery and failed frozen poses from Shiva/Scylla
-I also screenshot strange/funny names. If your name is funny and you've passed my way, I've probably screened it. :|
-Whenever I inspect people's gear, I'm usually always trying on their chest gear. D: I click away real fast so they don't know I'm trying on their clothing. :|
-Whenever I DF into a party and someone is facing my direction, I'll click them just to see if they're looking at my gear o_O
-If you DF into a trial/dungeon and you see me on MNK, you have a high chance I'll forget to LB... or at least at the first boss. >.>;
-Every time I DF into a raid or trial, I secretly wish I get a SCH for a co-healer so my Protect/SS actually means something (but not anymore, soon ;-; ). Also because it's just good class harmony.
-I can do Garuda EX in my sleep, but I've nearly completely forgotten how to do Garuda HM and NM D:
-I used to use Presence of Mind instead of Divine Seal on big pulls, way back :|
-I chase random greenleafs down just so I can stoneskin them :|

I've considered marrying some of the suitors, then leaving them, just so I could get the bootlets...

Sometimes... I like to think I'm the superior player than everyone else as a Whm when they don't do certain things to heal the party or use certain skills at this phase or that mob....

Also, I like to glamour my character with LESS coverage because you know... The rule is that if you wear less gear, the more powerful you are.

(Jfk I just like to stare at her like that.)

I like taking screenshots of my or other characters in cool poses while being petrified/frozen.
Don't have them all in a special folder though '-'

I enjoy saving the day so much...
That I queue in Extreme Trials.

Just so I can feel like I'm useful again, helping people through content, by solo healing or other means.

My confession is a little sad but I'm the player whose day brightens whenever I receive a player commendation.

I have a disturbing confession to make...

Over the course of my time on FF14... I have taken over 300-400 screenshots of pretty male miqo'tes... I feel like such a perv. D:

I also like to take alot of screenshots of my character. (appallingly.)

I confess that I:

I want to host a maid/butler cafe in game one day.
I like running around taking screenshots of random scenery and players.
I like writing pervy fanfics of members of my FC. XD They seems to enjoy the very much. lol
I like to glamour in sexy outfits and run into my hubby's characters boobs. (≖ᴗ≖๑)

I confess - I buy all the major undercutting stuff on the marketboard and relist them for mad profit. /Capitalism!

I'll get hate for this, but I replaced the entire soundtrack with music from the Lords of Shadow series (sometimes from Assassin's Creed). One of the few times I'd cut it off is during the Good King Moggle Mog trial.

Edit: Don't misunderstand me; I think FFXIV has a fantastic soundtrack [minus the rock music for the primals], but for the characters I made and for the atmosphere/experience I wanted to create, LOS was a better fit, music-wise.

Sometimes ninja /pet lalafells when I run pass them >.>

I don't understand Lala hate. I never have. I think it's mean. And sad.


I don't ride my mount in the housing areas even though we are allowed, because I think it's rude.


I can't wait to buy more retainers. Mostly just for organization and storage, so that they don't all have to be completely full.


I've never used a fantasia or visited the barber because I made Lumos perfect the first time. ^^;

Same. Especially if I get it as a dps.

I've used the Aesthetician at least 5 times in order to have a change of haircut, spent about 1 hour and end up with the same settings...

I decided to ride my chocobo all the way from the dock in west Than through the shroud, coerthas and finally end up in Mor Dona and...I got motion-sickness and threw up :(

If I meet another DRG in DF and they don't get hit by avoidable things, they're top pick for my commendation at the end.

I dozed off in a dungon once. I woke up to the tank "/poke"ing me. It was only a few miniutes. I finsihed that run and went to bed XD

Whenever I jump from a high place, to include off the sides of Camp Tranquil, my stomach turns as though I was falling from a great height in real life.

Oooh mine tend to go to healers, as a healer in many MMO's I just like to show appreciation as I know it's not always an easy job. A healer with a name that makes me laugh then you're a sure thing ^_^

I get so annoyed with invisible walls cause I LOVE climbing, exploring and jumping to my death from high places.

I've also taken to posting inane, random things in party chat when I'm bored and in a low level dungeon.

I must confess...I love female chars in skirts. I keep glamouring the legs slot I'm wearing to Linen bottoms (seriously SE, gimme moar skirts)
Also my heart broke when I heard the person in the launch trailer talking to the Warrior of Darkness. Seriously I want to be the Warrior of Darkness, my character is a villainess cursed with do-gooder syndrome by the mother crystal. T_T
Oh and everytime I see a Miqo'te females doing that "hands on head" idle emote, I imagine them surrounded by angry guards/police.

I give out commendations to people that helped me have fun. Usually given to the person with the best and or funniest attitude. If noone talks but everyone actually does their jobs, its a 50/50 chance for the tank/healer and depends on the characters name. (if you have a really obnoxious name or just a name I don't like, even if you did a great job, you probably won't receive the commendation as well ;P) I'm just funny that way. There been plenty of times I've just given it to a random DPS just because I liked their name or they made me laugh ;)

When I tank on WAR I like to jump right before using tomahawk just so I can get that extra bounce for a little more air time v.v

I'll admit that on one occassion I coasted on Auto-Attack through a whole Syrcus Tower run, and got loot.

I've walked in on so much catman erp that i'm numb to it.

I love helping people learn content, but if someone without a clear wrecks a farm party I will absolutely lose my shit.

I do the Manderville while I'm soaking the first 4 stacks in the Fountain of Fire.

I've let the MT die in T12 - Phoenix was at 2% and he started casting Flames of Unforgiveness. I didn't provoke. :3

I often commend people simply on the basis of having an amusing name.

I will completely obliterate a market, then either simply yank my items down or buy up the underpriced stuff and resell it.

Falling from really high places makes my stomach lurch every single time.

im desperately looking for good sounding "darknightish" names x_x

I confess that i'm interested in the role-playing part of the game, but too shy to actually do it.
