You are downloading multiple, it would seem, they are coming out in parts, or if you do it a bit later, as a whole.

Technically that patch you are downloading is ahead than were I were in that screenshot. Yours start with 2015.05.26 and in my screenshot it is 2015.05.20

Mine shows 8gig right from I sign in my account and the download starts.

the first patch is for every1 even ppl that doesnt have the expansion , the 2nd one is the expansion , if u are in the 1 patch and cancel and try to patch u will be asked if u want to download HW and sign up the ToA , and the actual patch is 8gb (minus the size u already downloaded)

probably, i just got news that patch is up and started downloading it.

3gigs done already :3 5 more gigs to go

So after I did my 4 gig install, I logged out and logged back in. It did a check and a heavensward banner appeared. I clicked on it and it told mt this wasn't installed. It asked me if I wanted to install it so I did. It told me it was 10Gigs in size and is now starting a new DL, Part 1 which is 3 gigs in size.

This for ps4 aswell?

that's weird indeed, as if the patch to download goes back in dating D:

i remembered when I reinstalled OS and reinstalled the game, the whole package was 15gigs and the patch number goes in chronological order >.>

Yeah, you downloaded before the full patch was done uploading.

Some have reported a full 8.3GB download on 1st launch.

Well they might be releasing them in parts since maintenance just started, if you try in a few hours they might merge them so you get the whole piece at once.

8.3gb for me as well.

If they're breaking it up in parts, it's pretty smart of them to do that. I imagine it would help alleviate some of the strain.

Question for those that have the larger download. What system are you on, and did you order digitally or physically? I'm on PS4 digital. The download finishes at midnight tonight. I only have a 3.8g download at the moment.

You download the 4.6gb file, restart it, it brings up menu confirming the account hw will link too, then their is another 2gb file. I feel bad for you cup-n-string networks

But I got that menu before my first download.

If you downloaded early, it was split.

If not, it wasn't.

They've added more to your DL. Make sure you update again. Note the version difference. Above is version 2015.06.17.0000.0000(1548724). Mine is Version 2015.06.17.0000.0001(1543683)

ya the patch was like 4+gb, and installing HW was 3,9gb.

That's good, because my PC completely ignores that a download is being made and tries to go to sleep all the time, so downloading it tonight would be impossible :3
