He's alright, I guess. I like him - don't get me wrong - but he's one of those characters that I've sort of come to distance myself from simply because he has a lot of volatile fans and he's become rather overrated.

I also favour Estinien a lot more, personally - I felt like he went through much more character development than Aymeric did and I find his attitude/voice sexier than Aymeric's. It helps that I prefer my elves when they're suitably gritty (though not to the point where they're unattractive). That blonde elezen that serves the archbishop is pretty hot too.

I'd break that ass.

For those of you who love his voice (and I do fan a bit over it), the English VA of Aymeric also did Alvis in Xenoblade Chronicles. :D

I don't get all the "love" this NPC gets. Maybe cause im a man IRL and as straight as it gets? I dont know...

As a character he certainly does his best to change Ishgard knowing it can't be done over one generation and is a good person.

However, the fan base is growing like a wild fire and I'm starting to worry a bit.

Eh Aymeric is overrated. In ARR, I was all over Cid. He is a hunk if you ask me. However, I got a new npc crush. He is in my signature. For he has the most heart.

I like Aymeric quite a bit and Elezen in general, hence why I play one.

But as much as I like Aymeric, I probably enjoy a certain quest NPC who somehow became a major character even more.

Haurchefant, you know Gale loved you... many times, probably.

I remember phialing into a big, burly Roegadyn for a short time. Not long after that, I met the NPC Moenbryda. I started to think that maybe SE was scripting in an NPC love interest -- I saw the way she looked at me in cutscene 3562362456. It turns out it was just big fat coincidence.
