So how many jobs do you play regularly?

Ninja for PvE

Black Mage for PvP

...and that's it :D

SCH/SMN/BLM/WHM and BRD for now. But I do try to play with my other classes every few weeks.

Tank for raids.
Scholar for PvP.
Ninja for random stuff like levequests.

I levelled everything but I enjoy some more than others. I'll get everything to 60 soon and see where I gravitate then.

WHM is my main, but I've been playing SCH a bit more to get accustomed to it (I SCH'd t11 for the first time this week. I don't think I actually killed anyone, lol). Paladin is my favorite Tank and when I do go DPS, as a WHM main who loves that Holy spam, BLM AoE is a close second in my heart for killing big scary mobs. c; And Monk is by far my favorite melee, I dunno why, I just think Monks are super cool.

3 combat classes. I use BLM for pretty much anything solo, WAR most often lately for DF, MNK for anything 'serious', which I haven't done much of lately. MNK is the best geared but currently least played for me. WAR's been working on getting drops for my MNK's weapon, but the grind finally got to me so I'm waiting for the inevitable nerf to finish that up.

Outside of combat I play MIN most, followed by WVR and GSM. All crafting and gathering classes at 50 and will level them all to 60 fairly quickly (same with the 3 combat classes I play -- and maybe add a healer after that).

I main WHM, Secondary BRD and have been playing MNK a lot, lately... I'd say 3. Everything else I have little interest in :/ War has become fun, but I'd rather not take it into anything complicated. I don't have a leader's mentality. DRG is okay.... but I like MNK better.

I rotate mostly between summoner, black mage and white mage.
But sometimes I like playing dragoon
I only play bard because I like my bard glamour, and same with monk

I have 2 alts, one warrior and one paladin, but they are both around ilvl 120 so I have nothing to do when I'm on them, except just doing some random dungeons/trials for fun

i have everything at 50 on this character, but only ever play my white mage, which is my main

i have 2 warrior tank alts tho, Incredible' Hulk and Mighty' Mouse (both race selected and customized to look like the real thing lol) occasionally play those for shits and giggles

My two main classes (I have relics done for both of them, ok one is just 6 mahatmas away) are BRD and SMN. Which will stay as my classes that I intend to play mostly.
I have a PLD as backup and a SCH too. I did level all the classes to 50. And I must say I enjoy playing BLM too. I am not really good at melee tho :) so... they stay there.

And I have an alto who is main with BLM.

If you're doing the relic gear stuff, then there is absolutely no point in playing any job that you can't use the relic gear with. Most players "main" one thing and only get the other jobs to 50 because they are completionists, not because they play it. If you shun the Relic Reborn quests, then you can just go straight to the Poetics weapon.

Everyone should have at least two Jobs they are "good at" and one of those should be a DPS. The other should be a healer or tank. The reason is that if you have at least one of each, you don't have to wait as long for a queue if you would be just as fine playing a tank as you would a DPS. If on the other hand you don't really like to tank or heal, then you're going to have to put up with long queues on any DPS-only class.

For that reason I suggest everyone at least have Arcanist/Scholar/Summoner to level 50. At least then you have both a DPS and a Healer without having to level two characters. You still need to do a gear grind for both.

One, WHM. I have MNK at 50 also but it's just my back up for FC raids if we have too many healers online at once. I'd like to level them all at some point just for completionism but WHM is always my priority, I always gear that up best I can first before going to MNK.

I only really play two regularly. White Mage and Paladin, with preference to the former. Unfortunately, DPS jobs are a real hard class to get into DF with and I find queues are extended to as much as 30 minutes for a simple dungeon. I would love to play Black Mage and Ninja more, but despite them being among my better geared jobs I spend more time waiting for a dungeon than I do inside the dungeon itself.

Don't really get along well with Scholar or Warrior classes, so I don't play them very often despite being very well geared.

Currently I'm just leveling them, but I'll definitely use a healer regularly. Not sure about tank yet. Almost all of the jobs are fun to play (looking at you, paladin). I will figure out a top 5 list in Heavensward. I'm pretty sure I won't play them all regularly, but who knows.

DRG, NIN, WAR, SCH.
in HW it'll prob be DRG, NIN, WAR, SCH, DRK, MCH. maybe MNK, SMN, BLM, too :)

WAR main job, BLM if I need to play a dps. I also play PLD if the party need it (Leviathan EX for example).

For the expansion I will keep WAR as my main, but will switch to SMN for the dps class. (And will keep the Dark Knight geared, like the PLD)

Got all to 50 because I think you really benefit from knowing each class.
Also I leveled the most of the lesser played exclusively by daily-roulette bonus and not grinding, so that I actually played the class.

Actual Setup
BLM -> Main Class i130
PLD -> i130 and Zeta for quick dungeon invites
SCH -> i130 and Dreadywyrm book also for invites
Monk -> Second DD Class

That´s the classes I play regularly and enjoy most... the rest are >i125 just because everything else droped in farms or overstock of poetics.

For HW i will focus again on my BLM to 60 first, and think i keep SCH for secondary then.

I will use low-roulette again for the new jobs, where i think i might shoot for Astrologian, cause it seems to me like a very versatile and funny class.

dark knight seems a nice tank class, but i won´t jump the hype train ^^

My goal is to get all of them to 60 but I'm going to swap my main from bard to summoner in Heavensward. It's easier to solo with and I can also get instant queues as a scholar. Black mage will probably be my second main for those times when I feel like burning things to ashes. :D

I have almost everything on 50, but BRD is my main and I play it 99,9% of my playtime. I would never step in coil with another chracter for two reasons:
1. most of the jobs seems to be boring to me. Only WHM, SCH and WAR entertain me.
2. it is hard for me to learn more jobs well enough to be able to do T13 for example, I can heal well, but healing well plus doing DPS or tanking and doing high DPS is hard for me.

Talking about job I use with success (endgame), I'm main PLD, did all up to T13 also as SCH and NIN, and all up to T12 also as BLM/WAR/WHM. I really never play MNK, DRG, SMN as now.

After I level all job, SCH is mostly I use for Coil, Frontline, and Dungeon including the relic.

For tank, I prefer WAR more than PLD, maybe because the damage.

For DPS caster I prefer BLM because damage again.

For DPS melee I prefer NIN because attack speed.

Just WHM, honestly. I want to max all the classes for their stories though, and I'd like to get miner and/or botanist to 50 to play regularly as well.

Though I'm so far behind after my loooong break (and I couldn't decide on a job/character appearance) that I'm not 100% sure as I'm too focused on finishing the main story finally; but straight-up healing with no gimmicks seems to be my thing and I enjoy gathering with a controller.

I have SCH, WHM, BLM, PLD and BRD.. But usually I play only SCH because I find other jobs boring.
I level other jobs just for have more glamours.

I mostly main Monk, but the classes I have level to 50 and play are: Ninja, Summoner and Scholar. And I switch mostly between those four. I hope to have Paladin and Dragon leveled to 50. Come Heavensward. Dark Knight, Machinist and Astrologian to the list.

Main is a WHM. Second go to class is Paladin, decided to learn it to help fill lack of tanks in FC. There isn't a lack of tanks anymore, so now it more or less used to help people get through ques quicker if a dps is asking for help in something particular, bonus from being adventure in need is pretty nice as well. Seem I'm a pretty decent Tank in Coils as well which was a surprise. Lastly is SMN, SCH and Bard. Dont play them often though. Think BLM is the only other 50 I have but I don't play as that class. Not a fan of it.

Main BRD mainly, BLM was my main job before 2.5, (I changed due to static reason) I still play it sometime.
I play SCH a lot also for dungeons/coils/roulette, I love healing/buffing in the game but I realized that it's more difficult to find good DPSer than good healer so I usually stay DPS for coil. At least BRD is a good compromise with their song.

I have PLD also, I don't really like playing the job (especially in faceroll fight) but trial roulette give ton of gils for tanks :p

My alt is MNK and I love it. But I don't have time to play it anymore :(

Have all classes at 50 and i try to do them all justice. I do tend to focus more on the dps roles though, especially melee.
DRG being my main i use it for early progression, with NIN and MNK being my alts more or less. War is my go to tank and SCH my go to healer. I also use SCH for soloing basilisk maps.
If there is a need for a ranged dps i mostly go BLM or BRD but i do like the ocassional SMN as well, depending on the content.
For roulette i mostly use either WAR or BLM/SMN.

The roles i tend to use the least are WHM and PLD.

Bard and Black Mage currently. Only the former in anything coil related though.

I have everything but the tanks and NIN leveled, though I virtually never use anything but WHM, SMN, and MNK. Even then I use SMN and MNK more cyclically than at the same time, depending on what I'm currently doing a lot of.

I use two. Anything more and I think its too hard to keep them geared to the current ilevel.

DRG was my starting class, its, i130. I have a Zeta with it and use it for Coil, story progression, primals and Towers. PLD is my secondary, its i127. I use it to do ex roulette with an instant queue and to fill holes in partys when helping out people in the FC.

Also have an i100ish WHM to help people out if absolutly necessary. I learned awhile back that healing isn't my strong suit. Its nice to have one of each role but I don't actively gear or use my WHM.

I got like 7 classes leveld, but only use 2 of them. I main a whm its i101. I sometimes play pld, but the only thing i'll do on it is guildheast and low level roulett's. I actually enjoy tanking, but end game tanking is just to intimidating to me. I just can't get in the mindset of SR everything. I'll follow others that do it and keep um alive, but i wont pull multi mobs myself. So ye i wont even try to tank at lvl 50.

Maybe someday lvl 50 wont be constant SR, only then will i start to tank end game stuff, but i dought that will ever happen.

Edit: actually i could try to tank primals instead of dungeons...

I main WHM and prefer to heal, though I just got DRG to 50 and I'm really enjoying that so it'll probably be my main dps class. My other 3 classes at 50 just sit there and look pretty.

I think two is a sanity-retaining number, especially for the beginning of an expansion.

I play whatever job (I have them all lvl'd up and geared) except monk that I use when I go serious mode

I main DRG

Go PLD when i want a fast queue
BLM when i want a fast dungeon run
WHM every once in awhile, least favorite
and BRD when i am feeling lazy and want easy mode
also have NIN leveled and geared but rarely do anything with it.

Three. WHM/DRG/WAR.

I pretty much just keep those geared. Everything else gets the scraps hehe.

White Mage and Summoner are my most geared and I try to play them a lot, though recently I got bored of casting and have started working on gearing my Dragoon.

Warrior and Black Mage, aside from crafting and gathering.

2, PLD and BLM, but I have them all leveled and some times mess around on MNK or NIN. The way things are going, though, jobs are getting a lot more nuanced so it seems as if it'll be harder to casually play a job.

I main BRD and play WHM capably up through all of FCoB, and I recently learned to play WAR but don't feel comfortable tanking most things. It's been cool learning, though. Sometimes I SCH if an FC member needs one, but that's all.

Come 3.0, I'm replacing WAR with DRK since I'm still learning to tank comfortably anyway, and WHM with AST because I'm extremely interested. MCN is a toss-up if I like it more than BRD.
