Using a Fantasia before 3.0 Maintenance

in germany you get the code 5 minutes after the pre order from amazon.de~

If you log out in a Hevensward area, and try to log in on another platform that doesn't have Heavensward you can't log in. Since EA lasts until the 27th. I imagine if you switch to Au Ra during the EA, but don't register a code when EA ends, then you will no longer be able to log in with that character.

Stripped down, Fantasia consumed, logged out, and ready for Au Rification! \o/

I, too, would like an official clarification on that point in the patch notes where it states you need a full HW account before you can use Au Ra.
Unless you can use the core code before game goes live again then it's not a problem.

Once you put in you final EA code you can't get a refund. It Tells You This With The code.

I was kinda wondering if I would be able to use the free phantasia on the 19th? Kinda sucks if not, means I gotta wait 4 days to change. :/

The Free Fantasia that comes with the CE Physical/Digital will be delivered on release date (23rd) along with the other items. So yes, if you would like to change earlier, it's best to have one now.

You drink you fantasia, log out and when you log in for HW you will have the option to edit your character.

I forgot to do it lol, still have some time before maintenance but to lazy to do it, I'll just do it the very day.

What is strange is the fact that when I preordered from SE shop, I got a preorder code to enter so that I may get the HW service account code at a later date. 2 weeks ago I attached HW to my service account via the code they emailed me.

If my memory serves me right, yes. How, I dunno.
My guess is that it either manually transfer the saved ones (how that would work I got no idea, so doubt it) or you take the saved ones from its benchmark folder and place them in the FFXIV folder (this is what I expect).

When the game asks you if you want to use a saved appearance, say yes, it will be there listed as Benchmark.

I've got a vial of fantasia I've never paid for due to veterans rewards. So you actually don't have to buy a fantasia to get an aura. Just wanted to point that out
