After a while, I just got use to people calling them whatever they want. Lizards, Reptiles, Dragons, anything else that comes up under the sun of imagination. :x

If you're looking for the biggest boobs possible in the game then yeah, pick a race that's not Au Ra. But they have a decent sized pair at max for their race's proportions. If we slapped max Roe-sized tits on them, they'd just look horridly disproportionate and kind of silly.

Not switching. But I am ashamed to say I would pay good money for the male Au Ra new hairstyles though. (Shhhh don't tell SE)

This is very true, however given some old forum thread request, I am very glad they stuck with a more realistic (for a fantasy race/ game) look for each of the race options. If one were to go by fan art, every Miqo'te female would be unable to even move let alone fight.

Those roe hubba bubbas look like they could crack my skull open! O.O

Hmmm.....nope. If I hadn't tried what my character felt like at different heights, I'd still actually have the two phials of Fantasia we were given. I am attached to him, I do identify with him - well, them, both my Miqo'te and my Elezen... so no, it'd just be weird for me. Plus those horns are really not my thing at all.

That said, I know at least one of my retainers is gonna be an Au Ra, because I do like their body shapes, faces, hairs, eyes.... ^^

Nope. Sadly the Au Ra are not the beast race I so desperately wished to see. Until the day I actually see such a dream come true, I will remain a male Roe.

Wow, so far it looks like there are a lot of Mithra looking to jump ship! I might switch to one at some point down the road, but not at launch. Ill stay with my manthra, thank you very much.

My alt miqo'te will be changed it to au ra, but my main will stay miqo'te.

Proud Lalafell from the start (and Taru back in XI).

I'll have 3 Phantasia for HW (1 for V1, 1 from 1 month reward, and 1 from HW).
So I'll switch to Au Ra first, then maybe to Roegadyn for a while if I don't like Au Ra.

But eventually, I'll switch back to Lalafell, the true master race !

I love Mi'qote so much but lately the problem about overpopulated is critical.so I'll sacrifice myself by changing to Au Ra in order to control the population of cat people that I loved.

There's always the female Roegadyn~ If you spend some time in the character creator, you can create a gorgeous Roegadame (and there's a chance you won't run into a clone of yourself).

If they weren't just exactly the same set of models as miqote except with incredibly fake-looking horns awkwardly glued on, maybe.

The character my Au Ra is modeled after is the offspring of the newly crowened Queen of Irrisen, Anastasia Romanova, granddaughter of Baba Yaga, and her dragonkin bonded companion/mount Sahiron of Triaxus.

I know. They still look more dragon than demon.

I can't wait to change! I love their overall look and what I have seen of their emotes so far. The free fantasia will take too long to get here, so I'm going to purchase one just before early access so I'll be ready to go.

I bought all of the fantasia packs before they changed it, burnt through all of them making minor tweaks. >_> Damn right it's an addiction.
