Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed aswell that the female Aura are so tiny and lack Oomph! I thought the females were going to be tall as well, but from the character creation alone they don't look fierce enough to me :/ Also I'm not a fan of their passive look, like they just woke up from getting punched in the face too often. The male ones though look very good, all of them. I'm just wondering how the male ones will look as healers. I main warrior as well as whm so that I will walk the paths of both dark knight and astrololo is a given, just not sure if I can give up my current character which I love and also... Elezen represeeeent :x

Hrm, Personally changing to anything else this late in the game would feel nothing but odd... I could use an eye color change tho.

The only thing that male Auri beat my Miqo'te in was that they can get an actual Sonic hairstyle for a legit Gotta-Go-Fast speedrun. But sadly, I also like my current hairstyle and Auri can't get it.

Also don't like the idea of having a 2 meters height minimum :/
And the horns aren't very appealing to me...

I will definitely get a female Au ra as my retainer tho :U!

In all honesty, i am happy they don't. Roe & Elezen are so weird and butt ugly, i don't get why people even play as them. ROE have no good looking face or skin colour, barely look good in anything beside certain gear. As for elezen, their posture is so bad, it would be as if they have spine problem, hair style is horrible and badly match anything, same goes for ROE.

Personally I do like my femroe. I've been told that I was able to create one of the rare "pretty" femroes though.... I actually greatly dislike the Au'Ra females. Probably just as much as you dislike Roes and Elezens. To me they have no good looking faces and are far, far too "cutesy" to me.

I'm keeping my main a miqo miqopermanently. :C Something about a short cCatgirl tanking bahamut makes me grin! Alts gonna be a fem au ra though. I like the hips. :X

Anyway, to be in topic now. I'll continue to be a Roegadyn. There are far too few of us in this game. Sad to see that a few are going to be switching. I'm going to be making an alt of mine an Au'Ra though. One less Miqo'te is a good thing.

This survey is reinforcing my need to stay Hyur.

I don't want to be yet another drop in the bucket of the dragon zerg.

You are beautiful! As are many other Roes I've seen. Some people just have very narrow definitions of beauty.

I'll probably end up switching between my Miqo'te and future Au Ra looks, and if there was an option on the survey to reflect that... I just want to have both at the same time, but not via alts as they don't feel quite as... necessary (maybe not the right word?) here as they do in other games. I absolutely adore male Miqo'te and their playful mannerisms, but I also love male Au Ra; their hourglass shaped figure with broad shoulders and a lean athletic build brings me back to mind of night elves in terms of build and height >_> (I miss my boys). I will however be sorely missing my Miqo'te's voice, it was pretty hard finding one that I liked.

The disappointment in Au Ra for me rests in the females. Their choices I find are bland and it makes me sad that I can't make a more aggressive looking one. On the flipside, the male Au Ra do have the problem of RBF, especially face two with it's giant scowl and brow ridge.

P.S. Love Roegadyn and Elezen.

I may have a bunch of Fantasia's lying around in my retainer, but I don't plan to switch. I might fiddle around with the Au Ra character customization a bit more to see if I can create something I like, but otherwise, I'm staying a Highlander.

Fem Roe have some of the prettiest faces and second best hairs (after Au Ra) imo. They're gorgeous, but I can't stand their bodies or height to play them myself. They also have the best hempen camise. :<
Elezen women...can be pretty in the face, but the tiny head, huge shoulders, posture, and horrific legs ruin it.
For both, mostly everything but their race gear and hempen camise looks bad because of their body shapes. Idk, maybe I'm just too into a specific slender body shape.

I love long legs, but the Elezen legs don't look right. They're weirdly chunky and unflattering to me. I think it's the calves.

I was originally thinking of switching to Au Ra but after playing around with them in the Benchmark... No thanks. I'll stay Hyur.

I'm not surprised to see so many Miqo'te switching considering our sheer numbers. Can't wait to see how the population on the servers will look after the Au Ra hype dies down. I for one shall remain an Au Ra for a long time. I actually feel at home looking at the options in the creator now. :)

And Elezen and Roes are gorgeous D: They have the same range of looks the other female races do. You can very easily make either look like a baby doll or a vixen.

Think they went the wrong way with the females at least by having both clans the same bar a scale/horn colour. They should've rolled with the way they did they Hyur. One versions smaller and more adorable Aka Raen Females the way they are now with males being similar in height/build to highlander hyur while having the Xaela the much larger version Males being like they are now with the females being similar in height to elezen females.

The significant height difference between the males and females really is a throw off and they dont feel like the same race :S

While we do have slightly small heads, it can easily be offset by good choice in gear. I don't think there is anything wrong with our posture or legs though :/ since when have long legs been "horrific"? Most gear looks great on elezen...

Anyway I was considering Au Ra, but they are too short I think. I will test on an alt, but I will probably stay elezen. I also hated the Au Ra voices from what I could hear.

Elezen posture is terrible. Drives me batty. I think they're so pretty otherwise.

Need a dislike button so badly right now, out of all the races females, I find Roe and Elezen to be the most beautiful, with femlanders right behind. They are the only races that actually look like women, with some weight to their frames, and actual curves.

Femqo'te, midlanders, and au ra look too much like teenagers to me, and lala were never designed to be beautiful, just super cute.

Friend, there's nothing wrong with being unique. History remembers individuals. In terms of game setting, you should value the fact that you stand apart from the rest. Embrace the fact that while others believe they are beautiful unique snow flakes like everyone else, you actually define it.

Standing posture? Or when running? I understand being bothered by the run (though I'm used to it by now, but then I don't mind the femroe run either... only the female midlander run bothers me) but their standing posture seems perfectly normal to me...

I think shes beautiful! Roe males though... I would play a Roe if they had more of a body like their feminine counterparts. Roe females look much stronger.

Every one has their opinions on aesthetics, but I think there's some good support for Roegadyn and Elezen. With the Elezen body type, I do have to say they look a lot better to me with gear models with that have more volume or bulk, because of their lengthy proportions.

Roe males are pretty awesome! So are the females, but I don't think I could do one with justice if I tried my hand at it...

I'll be switching to Au Ra myself, something I decided on before we had that much info on them, but the character creation pretty nailed it going forward for Xaela.

Personally I don't see anything appealing in Au'Ra after playing around with the character creator. And it might be just me but most of their voices don't fit their looks for a few exceptions or are just odd, imho. :b

I totally agree, out of all the females, Elezen and Roe look the most pretty >.<

I love my Female Elezen beyond words, I will not change her out ever. If I had to, it would be a female roe.

I'm staying Lala myself. I'll make an Au Ra alt because they're pretty cool...but I just love being my teeny self :)
