EDIT: Looking at the picture above it on the site, it looks like that ring is what you use to create the "glow."

I don't think they are. The face type menu only includes 4 images and we've seen atleast 5 different types of horns now. Unfortunately, the poster neglected to get the horn choice menu (of all things, right?). That glowy eye ring is amazing though.

In another thread I pointed out that only the Xaela had glowing eyes on the pictures. But with the new pictures we can now see that it's infact an option you can pick for both clans to have glowing/brighter outer ring on one or both eyes.

Yessss this nearly clinches it! The character I have in mind has the tannish coloration, much as my catgirl here does now. Chances of going lizardgirl are increasing.

I wonder if there's facial scare options? Or facial hair options for males?

I take it that Xaela get the blue hue skin color, whereas Raen will get the red?

Neat! Looks like you can add horn ornaments in the CC!

I am also wondering if there will be any Scar options. I don't think there will be any facial hair, atleast not beards. Sofar all male Au Ra I have seen have had scales on the chin, like it's default and non-changeable. I could be wrong ofc. I always give my male characters a beard when ever I can.

the benchmark cant come fast enough! the only foreseeable problem im personally going to have is settling on a design for my au'ra!

Thank you so much to everyone posting links to screenshots :) My fantasia is officially ready. I have to admit, when I first joined a couple months ago none of the races really screamed out to me. I ended up between Miqo'te and Lalafell and got my current character because I liked the face I ended up getting. But looking at the Au Ra I am legitimately giddy and excited to design one.

That said, one question: will we be able to fantasia to Au Ra during early access? Or will we have to wait for the full release? First timer with this stuff so I am clueless.

I'm not sure.. I can officially say we will have it but... I don't see why not? Early Access is full access to the expansion content, just earlier than those who haven't pre-ordered. But we may not have the CE stuff till launch day, that includes the free fantasia if so.

I have 2 free fantasias left I could try out Au Ra but can you have normally looking eyes? Do you have to be super short. I don't really like short races but as tall as a miqo'te would be fine.

With all of the horn styles, I wonder what's going to happen once an Au Ra wears a hood..
Are they going to morph into some sock-covered default like what happens for elezen and lalafell ears? Even though your horns are normally pointing in the opposite direction?

Without the glow? Yeah, it showed that you can take it off or on when they showed the Raen tribe and one where the Xaela looks like she does not have the red colored lining but maybe a lighter one(?) from the view they used to take the shot from at least.

So maybe the Xaela has removeable glow lining too.

I remember the email said the CE and pre-order bonuses wouldn't be delivered until launch day. However I also didn't know it was full access to everything for a whole month. I shall hope then! Then you :)

I think Horns come out of the hood instead of being in a ear pocket. There was an Au Ra in the benchmark with a hood on, i'll see if I can find a screenshot for you.

Not a whole month, the early access day will be june 19th. It's three days ahead of the actual launch day. :)

Edit: Keep in mind that SE can put a limitation on how far players can level in early access to avoid players leveling too far apart from one another as they did this in ARR early access but I don't see them doing this again.

I'm hoping for more feminine male options... Don't understand why every male wants to look like the Hulk in MMOs. I'm 4'9" and tiny in real and not a typical looking "man." Would be nice if I could have those options in a game without being a potato (as much as I love the Lalafell).

Saw this Au Ra in the Benchmark, seems like they are about the same height as a Midlander Hyur:

EDIT: the shot after had them walking away, seemingly the same height, could be a camera POV effect that made them look of different height.

The ears are build into the horns. They can feel the sound vibrations with the horns.

They have "advanced hearing and spacial recognition granted by their cranial projections"

They are working with the pictures we have been given. >>

We know how an average-height Miqo'te compares to an average-height Hyur, and so based on the pictures of a Miqo'te standing next to an Au Ra, we can make an educated guess how tall the Au Ra will be.

If you mean their /pose emotes then I think these were some of them which was shown with Au'Ra release but I don't think they showed both males in one, the females however look like they are both using one.
