New Limit Break Animations in 3.0

Very likely, the current DPS-caster LBs are going to be allocated to Black Mage, so I get nothing new. Sigh...

Weren't they giving it to blm as a new spell, like they did Bastion to Paladin? I believe I remember him saying that would happen to both and we saw pld's new bastion in the benchmark trailer.

They also said that they need to allocate the current LBs to someone's job, and Meteor was always BLM's trademark spell (plus, upon triggering Meteor, the adventurer is given a staff, which is BLM's natural weapon, whilst Summoner's is a book).

Funny thing is, the staff that the caster is given upon using Meteor is actually a Conjurer cane, the Astaroth Cane.

Ya I think your right I took a closer look, I thought it was a FemRoe because the skin looked a bit whiter than a hyur could get but i'm not 100% sure anymore XD.

That Dragoon isnt Au ra though, no horns on the head the tail is actually part of the AF2

To make up for the horrible ass Egi's: Let summoners SUMMON the actual PRIMAL!

That would be amazing, have it check what egi you have summoned at the moment you use the limit break and then summon a full sized version of the primal to do the Primals Signature attack on the target :O

I had this thought in my original post but removed it because then people will be crying that Summoners have too many Limit breaks to pick from lol.
Or like choose 3 you wanna pick or something. I like the "whatever you got" Egi is the one you'll summon when you have up but you know...people lol.

TBH this is pretty much what I would imagine for summoner, calling the full power of w/e Egi they have out currently.

or to counter the argument summoners have to many limit breaks they could of just made it as a primal summoners cant generally summon outside limit breaks, or make it a kind of random primal limit break summon cant determine which 1 you could get :P

anima/diablos would be awesome to see as a limit break summon only :P

I don't think the setting works that way (prayer, heaps of aether, tempering, aetherical disruption and whatnot) but it would be fun to summon an Ifrit againts Ifrit.

Um.... the adventurer we've known since 2010? Remember the opening movies? That guy? The recent Heavensward trailer? Archer, to Warrior, to Dragoon? No one's catching this?

Yeah, the main DRG in the benchmark trailer is our beloved Derplander. I also like how the DRK, AST, and MAC are the same ones from all of the other trailers, and then meet up with him towards the end, too.

How about...Siren? Fenrir? Diablos?
Hell bring back Carby and friends. We could use summons from other dungeons.
I just thought more of the elemental road sounded better lol.

We already can summon Ifrit against Ifrit lol. But I think I see what you mean. I didn't read SMN story so yeah.
Sometimes I get sick of lore ruining what could be really fun in the game. :/ I'm not going to get into that because I want no discussions about it heh.

I'm of the opinion that any Smn that's beaten the Odin trial should have the use of Zantetsuken as a LB3. Though the chance of Odin appearing should be kept random, just like the Final Fantasy games of old. So insert the new 3.O - LB3 and add a 0.1% chance of Odin appearing and doing a Zantetsuken.
As for the new Smn spell that was showcased in the benchmark video, it looks like its a upgraded tri-disaster spell (which in its current form is useless ).

The Dragoon LB makes me glad that I am back to maining Dragoon. (Don't worry, guys! I'll tank the floor in style!)
