Just received my third email with the new code, and that's also appearing now in my SE profile page under a button labelled 'View your FFXIV Heavensward Early Access', great!

However I've seen lots of people reference a pre-order code to be entered at the links helpfully provided above. This is the first time I've heard about needing a second code and I've checked through all my emails to find I don't have one! I just have the early access code.

Please can I get some clarification? Do I need this code? How can I get it? Thanks!

OK got my 3rd and final code, is that it? or will there be more XD, find it funny its the eu store XD we had to wait a week after official 'pre-order' date :P

i got all 3 e-mails saved and ready in case the new one doesn't work D:

stilll i cannot wait for when they will be redeemable HOPEFULLY not like 2.0's EA which started ON EA's start meaning a lot of people with slower net speed had to miss a day and a half D: ((luckily my Beta launcher was able to play early access, then i had to redownload on launch when servers were down))

Got my 3rd and hopefully final code today. I was confused yesterday when I received the 2nd one

Confirming I received a new e-mail with a 3rd set of codes (codes for both pre-ordered copies included in the same e-mail this time). These match the codes that now appear again on my Square Enix EU store profile.

This may sound completely dumb, but i preordered hw on gmg for 30 bucks, will they chrage me more on release date or is that it?

Chiming in on echoing this comment. The code I have is in the typical XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format and does not match the format requested on the pre-order code page. I ordered directly from the SE store so I suspect I may have just been directly given an early access code instead (so no need to enter a code on the pre-order page) but some confirmation of that would be nice.

question about people who pre ordered the game from GMG:

did you get a pre order code yet? I've yet to receive one. Got an early access code tho, but still waiting on the pre-order one.

I don't know exaclty why they need to have a "double key", where a pre-order code will generate an early access code.

The best I can think of is if they already printed the voushers with the pre-order codes on some physical editions, while the early access codes are not fully generated/activated.

Since the early access code is only delivered if you pre ordered in the first place, and the fact that you'll enter them on the Mog Station, you'll probably be fine if you only have the early access code, which is the most important.

okay so i got a second code on the 17th, so is this the WRONG code. is the original one still valid? ive not had a 3rd email

you should 've getting a 3rd email soonish , check your junk folder just in case. Once you get the 3rd one , the 1st and 2nd code will no longer be valid.

I ordered from NA store and received 2 emails and 2 codes. My entry on the pre-order page contains two codes for PC.

I purchased through the EU store and have 1 email with a code and it matches the one in My Profile, so I take it its correct. Though the current redeem a code thingy wants it in a different format - I take it there are seperate codes for Early Access and CE content? If so when do we get the CE content code?

The CE code will most likely come with the physical box (or sent via e-mail on digital release) the code you have if it matches the one in your SE account should be correct :3

if it dosnt work when you get a code saying it can be redeemed please contact SE's help centre :3

i pre-ordered Heavensward for the PS4 from the NA SE store, got an email that linked me to an activation key, used it on the Heavensward site and i've been stuck in "Preorder code Pending" limbo for almost a month or two now. with may 15th stated on the site as the time when we'll be notified when we can use our pre-order codes i would very much like to know why i haven't gotten mine yet >:(
