I’ve been in this Free Company for a couple of weeks and thought I should share my experience on how things have been going since I decided to join the Lewd Family. Been playing MMOs for the last 11 years or so, I’ve had my share of guilds and stuff like that.

From the moment I clicked on the Accept button up until now, everyone in the FC welcomed me like I was an old friend coming back. All of them are absolutely amazing human beings that will always be there to help you out should you need it. I had never met any of them prior to joining up and from the start it felt like I was already part of the family. That close-knit atmosphere is what it’s all about here. We might not have the numbers of the bigger FCs on this server, but we truly have the quality.

I couldn’t have picked a better place to call home, and I’d like to thank my buddy Kailana for showing me such an amazing group of people.

These guys are a huge part of what makes playing this game awesome for me.

I’m not really the type to post on forums and stuff, which is the reason why I think this post is actually one of my first one(or the first one?), but I felt I had to share my experience with anyone that was considering joining Noble Riff Raff.

Hey everyone! I've been asked by several people how we do recruitment and member selection. The thing is, we're willing to give just about anyone a try, but we are very careful to make sure candidates share our beliefs in the rules we've established. <Lewd> follows our established rules (for lack of a better word) strictly. We believe that if people like what they read, they're likely to enjoy the members too.

So with that in mind, we don't care so much about the numbers in the FC as we do the people. Number growth is a natural result of gaining awesome members. If you seek us out, know that you'll be a person and friend, and not just a number. You won't be hassled or pressed to give any information you don't want to. People will be excited to see you log in and sad to see you log out.

So, if you'd like to give <Lewd> a test drive, we'd be happy to have you aboard. Don't be afraid to ask any other questions you may have, either ingame or on this forum. We're here to help and we're here to be the group of friends you've always wanted to game with.

Hello. I'm currently on Balmung, but originally come from Gilgamesh and I am looking to for more friendly server and FC. I stumbled upon this FC looking through the threads and it has peaked my curiosity. Could you possibly tell me more about it? Is everything on the front page up to date or has anything changed? So far I like what I see and am considering switching servers.

Well, we've definitely got the "friendly" covered. I can tell you whatever you'd like to know, and I just made some small tweaks to the ad to keep it current but for the most part it's still the same. The only disclaimer I'll give is that we have a smaller active member base currently but many members will be active again come 3.1. It used to be that most the group was on either MST or PST, but now we've got members from all over and on several different time zones.

The bulk of the idle FC tends to hang out at the house so I guess you could call us one of those groups that actually uses our house. We have a fairly even mix of battle classes and will consistently answer the "what job do you want me to play? What job does the FC need?" question with, "Whatever is your favorite." The core fundamental of what we do is to have fun. Raiding never degrades into pointing fingers and making jabs at each other. Well, we're still lewd like our tag suggests, but no one is ever hostile. And more importantly, if someone is asked to stop, they will because we all respect each other and value enjoyment over anything else.

Personally, I wish we had more crafters. I'm the FC's only omni-crafter currently. Honestly omni is by no means required, but it would be super awesome if more members were interested in crafting and tinkering in the workshop. Gatherers can help out too, but many members got turned off by the dubious mat requirements of many Heavensward recipes.

Let's see... I'm not sure what else I can say. We have very little (I don't want to say zero drama because I think we had an argument in chat 4 months ago or something) drama because the people who join are all ones who like what our FC is about. The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly, regardless of whether you want to get on Ventrilo with us or not. Chat might not be something akin to leaving a TV turned on for background noise, but if you say something into a quiet chat people will respond, unless they're afk or elbow-deep in a duty of course. If there's anything I've missed, feel free to post on here and I'll come answer any questions you've got! Changing servers is a big deal, but I moved to Faerie over a year ago and haven't regretted it one bit.

Hi there! I have been away from the game for a bit but have finally found the time to return. I am currently on Jenova but am thinking of rolling a toon (or possibly just X-ferring) on Faerie due to all the good things I have heard about the server. Hey there! We're always recruiting members who like what we're about. Faerie is a fantastic server. A good chunk of us transferred here over a year ago and haven't looked back since. If you need any more information, please don't hesitate to ask! One of our features is that we recruit very selectively so that we can get to know each member. There's no clique and we're always happy to help out. (All you have to do is ask! ^_^)

I believe we're up to a total of 60 members now, for what that's worth. We're more about quality than quantity so we just let the numbers expand naturally without recruitment-based harassment.

This sounds like right up my alley! I am also on the west coast and was hoping for a FC with almost exactly this size. My IGN is "Gooswa White" I will be on tonight and will try to hit up someone from the FC to get a little more context and info.

I've just come back from a 2 year hiatus (raising babies and all) and I'm about 20 quests into the "7th Astral Era 2.1 -2.55" content. I'm on PS4 and don't have any way of doing skype, mumble or any such thing (at least not at the moment.)

I'm item level 76 at the moment, just looking for a chill FC that likes to raid/help the lower level guys get caught up. I play late night from 9:00pm central to about 1:30am. I don't really have any of the disciple of hand/land leveled mostly just Warrior and Paladin have relic weapons, and I have the relic reborn quest for my scholar I think.
