i just want the digital ce items n early access dont care about the toys that come with the physical considering thats what people are really paying for when it comes to the physical ce pricing :P

They only saying not to worry cause they already preordered theirs, I bet if PSN had it up first and somehow there were no physical copies available at any retailers other than the SE store some heads would be wondering why they haven't got it yet, and the fact that SE isn't straight forward in this matter and blames it on Sony doesn't help either.

At this rate i am feeling it would be better to just get the regular edition.

I haven't pre-ordered mine either. Quite on the contrary, I'm a steam purchaser, so I'm in a similar boat.

I'm not worrying. Even though SE doesn't care about their customers, as their handling of RMT has shown, their bottom line is the one thing they do care about, and making sure that psn and steam players can give SE their money will be addressed.

Heavensward is on steam, however it is not available for preorder, at least as of 5 hours ago.

It actually says available June 23rd on it, with no mention of early access or pre-ordering.

Checked it this morning, still nothing.....

I would likely forecast that, sue to the fact that SE doesn't care even slightly about their playerbase in any way other than how much money they can get out of their wallets, they will wait until the last possible moment to put it into the PSN and Steam. That way, they can get as many people to panic and buy the physical version at the higher price as possible.

Personally, I'm expecting and preparing for it to become available for preorder on June 12th.

A section of "pre-order bonuses" that looks like it was nearly copy pasted from every other pre-order source is hardly reassurance for me. I'm not saying we wont get it eventually. Quite the contrary, im confident it WILL be available, but I'm saying that I wouldnt hold my breath for any more than the absolute minimum of time required by each platform to qualify as a "pre-order".

The fact that I have myself seen the number of "Add-Ons" immediately drop from 2 to 0 when looking at the main game page for ARR tells me that something is definitely fishy there (and for once, It's not my retainers!).

i was just saying that in another thread.

12th of june is more then likely when it will become available.... dont see it being added to PSN b4 then considering its less then a month til early access goes live probably want to leave it for 2-3 more weeks for more people to get antsy/worried n buy the physical copy at 4 times the price of the digitals :P

I'm Oceanic and have some seriously limited options avaliable for purchasing. While I understand worrying about PSN preorder might be seen as jumping the gun, this early access date is creeping up and all my PC buddies are all cozy with their codes already. I don't know whether to just order the standard edition to be safe or not.

The physical collectors edition here was $400 (more expensive than a goddam console) so my only option for that griffin mount seems to be waiting/hoping for psn. Is that correct?

my girl " reserved" me a standard copy with her eb games manager discount but no money on it she just said did it so eithier way ill have somethin available if it turns out the way we are expecting :P and eb games havent even recived codes for early access for those who already preordered the standard edition

Ah yup, Mightyape don't have the codes either.
But even so, the early access codes don't include the griffin mount, is that correct? That is only avaliable with the Collectors Edition?

only collectors editions have the griffon + minion,, standard doesnt :3 early access codes u get if you preordered heavensward gives u access on the 19th.. if no preorder codes u wait til the 23rd

A fellow FC member has told me that he has it on good authority that the PSN Digital CE pre-order will be available this week, finger's crossed then!

That seems highly unlikely since the store only updates on Tuesday, and I'm almost certain they never add stuff other than that day but don't quote me on that.

PSN have been known to add 'PSN Store' updates on wednesdays or Thursdays as well in the past, Tuesdays are usually for maintenance issues ;)

The store update use to be on Thursday but then they changed it to Tuesday and the store update email doesn't usually go out until Wednesday.

Have not noticed that and been using PS store since day one (back when ps3 launched), but I hope you're right :) I don't want to wait until there's one week left to get it.

That's why I said earlier that it truly isn't Sony's fault at all, it's up to the developer when they want their game available. Even if SE will have it on the PS store until June, they could at least give us a date. All Bayonhe or whatever his name is tells is 'we are working it out with Sony', just give us a date.

exactly that... its a smart buisness move when you think about it,, waiting for people to get impatient/antsy with less then a month to go n rush out n buy the physical ce versions instead of waiting for the cheaper digital but still they by rights should atleast give people a date so we know exactly when its going to be added

well something is there when u go on the page under add on its says 2 for like a half sec then turns to 0

I do get that but even if they had say some additional CE digital in the PS store I bet they would sell out very quickly.

physical CE costs australians 300$ compared to the 70ish digital CE not hard to see which most autralian players would prefer to buy

ARR CE cost us 120$ so why in ehmm does an expansion for the same game cost 300$ thats paying over twice as much as what arr cost us just for n expansion/addon to a game we have already brought n pay monthly subs for :P

Damn that's super expensive, no way I'd spend that much on a game, let alone an expansion. i'm kinda hoping they might shed some light on this tomorrow at the live letter but it's probably wishful thinking.

It's been brought up before that to maintain the integrity and lure of the Early Access, they might have a limited amount of Digital Copy pre-orders. It's not that they'll run out of them.

Well I think you may be right, I guess since it's digital they wouldn't limit the downloads (purchase) of the CE version.

I get that Valve and probably SE are trying to show their muscles, delaying the preorder as long as they can. But is it that clever to piss off their users? Come on... Dont try to be like crApple, show people you care a tad about the playerbase.... We want the preorder asap, so we can think about stuff that matters ^^

damn right, just wanna order it and get it done, peace of mind and all that, plus you can only get pre-order bonus's when you actually 'pre-order' it not after it's been released on 23rd June :(
